  1. The thing is with the college picks outside of Owens they were all juniors (or sophomores) so I'm not sure they will be really low bonus guys. I'm sure they will mostly be underslot but not sure it will be enough to counteract Flores who I imagine will be a bit over slot.
  2. Do we think the Brewers saved any money in rounds 4-10?
  3. Technically not another this year. Owens was the only college senior the Brewers drafted in rounds 1-10. Interesting first 10 rounds for the Brewers. A couple college bats in the middle rounds and only one college senior.
  4. There is a 1 hour break between the end of round 10 and start of round 11
  5. Yeah it's definitely interesting to see a guy go from really good as a freshman to really bad as junior with seemingly no injuries to speak of. Seems like a guy who could benefit from a new perspective
  6. Wasn't trying to correct was just adding more info
  7. He was really good his freshman year but got worse each season he was at Duke.
  8. Sheesh playing through a broken hamate bone is crazy
  9. Surprised Dickinson was still available in the 6th. He was a Top 80 guy by Pipeline, BA, and Fangraphs.
  10. Rounds 4-20 in the MLB Draft is where you just let Ginger cook.
  11. Ginger liked a tweet I had saying Lake Central is just the Brewers domestic academy
  12. Episcope seems like a Woodward type pick. Buying the stuff despite the injury risk. Had TJ as a senior in high school then internal brace surgery this year so double elbow surgery guy already
  13. I don't think you should be expecting a singular big swing. Solid chance the Brewers spread the money around and get a bunch of high school guys
  14. Might as well chalk this kid up as a 2028 Brewers Draft Pick
  15. We just don't know as much at the time. At the time Payne seemed like a huge reach but he clearly wasn't a reach now and we also know the Dodgers were on him if he fell to 23 so we wouldn't have had another chance to get him.
  16. Losing the pick still sucks a bit and at the time I thought we gave up more than Priester was worth, but if Boston offered the same package back to us for Priester today, I wouldn’t take it.
  17. Yeah I was going to say the same but you beat me. Injuries will probably take care of itself. Plus it feels like it's pretty easy to manage too many pitchers with things like piggy backs.
  18. Ignore the steal of the draft thing as this is Coastal Carolina's Director of Analytics but it's an interesting thread on Morrison
  19. I think Fischer, Ebel, Morrison will all be underslot. Thompson will be somewhere near slot and I'd guess Cairone might be a little bit over slot.
  20. Missed 2024 because he had TJ surgery
  21. JD Thompson feels like a very Brewers pick after some research. Low release fastball with good ride so it has a good VAA.
  22. If Sal goes on the IL, Perkins can be recalled.
  23. Yeah I was thinking we are somewhere around $1M underslot through 2 picks with Fischer around $750K and Ebel around $250K under slot though with Ebel I really have no clue.
  24. This is cool. Brady Ebel was with the Dodgers this week and took BP at AmFam
