  1. No. Also would take way more than that to get him.
  2. At this point I don't think any of those 3 teams are going to sell. Arizona's GM (I believe) already came out and said they are planning to buy at the deadline. Minnesota and Texas are only 2.5 games back of the playoffs right now. That would need to change for them to sell the players you have them selling. For your actual hypotheticals. Buxton will be way more expensive than that. Boeve won't net Suarez with the way he's played following shoulder surgery. Especially considering Suarez might be the most in demand position player on the block if Arizona does end up selling. Brewers likely think way too much of Pratt to trade him for a guy like Josh Smith. Brenton Del Chiaro the Assistant Director of Player Development with the Brewers is publicly on the record saying he thinks Pratt is an All-Star in the future.
  3. Tough luck for Made tonight. Two absolute bullet line drives unfortunately right at the right fielder
  4. Didn't see anything that looked like it would be an arm injury. Seemed to me like he got his bell rung and got a concussion. You could see him almost fall over when he tried to get up as the trainer got there.
  5. Luke Adams on base streak stays alive with a 3-2 HBP near the hands.
  6. I think most people that frequent a site like this and the minor league portion of said site are probably pretty in tune with what minor league prospect stats look like. I personally had Wilken 13 but in the same tier as prospects 7-14. I think there are plenty of reasons to look at Wilken and have reservations. He's an extremely passive hitter which is something that better pitchers can take advantage of. He has some strikeout and swing and miss concerns. He runs a pretty low batting average. He looks like a guy who is probably going to be TTOish at the MLB level. Despite his huge HR and ISO numbers, he doesn't have elite raw power.
  7. Not watching but Wande Torres isn't going too much to help himself today. Two walks, a HBP, two errors, a wild pitch, and a balk through 3 innings.
  8. Bitonti just stayed back on a breaking ball and hit a 107 EV, 419ft blast to right field. Nice swing.
  9. Just because a guy played a position in the minors doesn't mean that he can play it to an acceptable level in MLB.
  10. Well the issue is when Perkins and Mitchell return that he will be going down. Can't send down Monasterio over Collins because then you have no backup infielders and Collins is more of an emergency infielder not a legit option at 2B/3B. That or it will be down to Collins or Perkins for the final roster spot considering Mitchell is likely guaranteed a spot.
  11. Yeah definitely feels like the Brewers found a tell or something. Brewers are making a ridiculous amount of hard contact right now on an assortment of different pitches.

  13. And instead of doing a doubleheader tomorrow it's now a doubleheader in August while the Brewers are in the middle of an 18 games in 18 days stretch. Now 19 games in 18 days. Ridiculous.
  14. Wisconsin's game today was canceled due to weather. That should help the thin Wisconsin pitching staff get through the week.
  15. Looks like the hunch was correct! Tyson Hardin promoted to AA and Coleman Crow promoted to AAA
  16. Nothing has been announced, leaked, or rumored but I have a hunch that Tyson Hardin got promoted to AA and is starting tonight for Biloxi. Hardin isn't listed as a starter for Wisconsin this week. All of Biloxi's starters for this week are listed except for today. Hardin last pitched on 6/11 which would line him up to start today. We know Coleman Crow is getting promoted to AAA which opens up a spot in Biloxi's rotation.
  17. It’s been like this for like 3 starts in a row where his FB velo ranges like 7-8mph within one start. It’s definitely weird.
  18. Just a correction, Collins was a minor league Rule 5 draft pick not a waiver pick up.
  19. Wind is blowing out at Wrigley. Doesn't feel great considering Patrick is one of the most extreme flyball pitchers in MLB.
  20. RHP Ethan Dorchies assigned to Carolina from ACL Brewers
  21. Looks like @Ro Mueller was correct. DSL Gold is listed as suspended and will be finished on 7/4. DSL Blue is listed as canceled.
  22. 3rd largest in MLB (min. 50 innings) this season behind Sandy Alcantara (7.14 ERA, 4.71 FIP) and German Marquez (6.62 ERA, 4.19 FIP). Brown has had bad luck but his xERA is pretty much halfway between his ERA and FIP sitting at 4.48. He has a really good K:BB ratio but when he gives up contact it's pretty rough. His xwOBA on contact against is 7th percentile in MLB
