  1. Thought Spencer thought Ebel would be overslot in the 2nd round not at 32?
  2. How far underslot do we think we will be after the first two picks?
  3. Seems like an underslot pick a la Wilken in 2023?
  4. Did Baltimore buy Irish down? He was a pretty consensus Top 10 guy based on draft boards I saw.
  5. Yes @Joseph Zarr you're fine! I misread your comment and thought you were spoiling Cunningham being picked. My apologies.
  6. Nevermind. I mixed up the name Witherspoon and Cunningham. False Alarm.
  7. Please don't spoil in this thread
  8. Yeah it doesn't seem like anybody knows what we are going to do based on the mocks and frankly with how off the mocks have been through 8 picks, they might just have no clue with this draft.
  9. Joe Doyle is out of hand man. He's spoiling these picks way too early. Please don't spoil picks in this thread.
  10. Crazy that Hernandez is almost 4 months older than Ethan Dorchies who has 43.1 professional IP and currently is rocking a 1.66 ERA with a 32% K-rate in A ball.
  11. It's really cool when people spoil picks well before they are announced. Joe Doyle leaked the Rockies pick before the Mariners pick was announced.
  12. I've enjoyed seeing people try to guess who we will pick under the assumption nobody is going to get it right again.
  13. Yeah having Ashby yesterday would have been nice. Could have gone to him in the 5th when you went to Koenig then you wouldn't have needed basically every reliever to have an up down.
  14. His xwOBA when we traded for him was .321 so it's gone up 15 points
  15. DSL Brewers Blue just had the most DSL comeback I've ever seen. They just put up a 9 spot in the Top of the 7th (7 inning game) and this was how they did it. walk, strikeout, single, double steal, strikeout, 2-run single, walk, hbp, walk, walk, wild pitch, walk, wild pitch, walk, walk, hbp, walk, pop out 9 runs on 2 singles, 8 walks, 2 HBP
  16. The whole fantasy of trading for Jose Ramirez gives off similar vibes to non-Milwaukee NBA fans fantasizing about trading for Giannis. Ramirez both has a no trade clause and is fiercely loyal to Cleveland with multiple cheap extensions signed to keep him in Cleveland.
  17. You don't technically need to be on the opening day roster. You just need to be up within the first 15 days. Either way Misiorowski isn't eligible to get us a PPI pick
  18. Vaughn actually has a better xwOBA than Hoskins this year and that was before tonight where it will be going up again. He was just one of the unluckiest hitters in MLB this year when he was on the Sox
  19. But why Quintana? They aren't going to take Gausman, Berrios, Bassitt, or Scherzer out of their rotation. That leaves Lauer but Lauer has been better than Quintana this year so Quintana doesn't make much sense.
  20. If the player is claimed off waivers then the new team is entirely responsible for the salary. DJ wasn't claimed on waivers so the Yankees just straight up released him so they are on the hook for everything outside of the prorated minimum the rest of this year and next.
  21. Not that we need more SP depth but I was really hoping we could keep him around. I think White has a chance to get an MLB deal somewhere this coming offseason after a really impressive season in the KBO
