    9 innings Crew had to work with, they K for a total of 4.1 innings. Hard to do anything when nearly half your chances you can't even put the ball in play. If they don't HR we don't score.

    Looking just quickly on BR, Voit for his career is better against RHP than LHP. I'm not sure I'm clear on the roster construction with Voit.

    It might be a fit at 3B, if the Crew are able to extend Adames. That would keep Turang at 2B. Only spot on the infield would be 3B. Not sure if he has the arm strength for that perhaps that is what the Brewers FO is trying to understand. If they don't extend Adames, then in a couple of years Turang will move over to SS and if Black develops might be the 2B.

    Agree its a long season. Your right on 3B. League average is 2. Brewers are -8 in 2B, we are the worst right now in that category in the NL and 2nd worst in all of MLB. -3 on total hits in the NL. -1 on 3B NL. Trend can go up or down and I know its a small sample size but we saw the same trends last year in extra base hits outside the HR. And the Brewers still have a high K rate. Time will tell. It always does.

    Another thing that is worrying is that we are below average with the NL in H's, 2B's, 3B's.

    I would wager Marlins fans care. Then again they have won 2 WS against the Brewers 53 years of trying. They can never take championships away. Consistency doesn't get you anywhere. Nobody cares that the Brewers made the playoffs the last 4 out of 5 years outside of Brewer fans. The Brewers still lost the last game of the season. However, I appreciate that you just want the participation trophy and are happy just taking part.

    You got me all figured out Sherlock. Lols. Said in early post on different threads that if this team wins 83 games it will be a miracle. Burnes will be traded at or around the deadline. Crew will not extend Woody or Adames. Mark A within 6 years will sell the team. I'm not a pessimist. I'm a realist. See you in June.

    My God its the first few games in April. Typical Brewer fan think these 5 games proves something and we are the 27 Yankees.. Phillies won yesterday. It hasn't been a week yet. Lets revisit in June and see where things are at.

    Careful that's heresy according to SveumRules and Ron Robinson beard. How dare you question our Principal Owner and Grand Leader. He is doing the best job possible. Just ask him...if you can find him. Usually in LA. Mark A and apologists are looking for that right mythical time when everything is right to go in and take a bite of the apple. Having the best rotation in franchise history doesn't seem to qualify as a criteria in their decision process. Much better just to agree with the message. Mark A in his recent interview has even drop the pretence of winning a WS. Just want's to compete now. Attendance this year will be the real test is fans have bought into the program or not.

    Sorry had my sums wrong: In the 27 innings of offense Crew has already K 35 times. That's 11 2/3 innings of nothing but whiffs (nearly half of our total innings). 93 team AB.
