With defensive chops at SS/3B/CF/LF, even with a seemingly painful roster crunch looming this offseason, if Garcia maintains anything near this pace, he'd be a prime candidate for a 40-man roster spot to retain his rights again. Per a Biloxi press release, OF Damon Keith has been reinstated from the 7-Day Injured List. The active roster now stands at 28 players. It was barely a minimum-length stay, and to be honest, I'm shocked and impressed. From last week: "Damon Keith reached on an infield single to third base leading off the 5th, 02:27:05 hour/minute mark for subscribers. There was absolutely no doubt about this injury, as Keith grabbed at his right hamstring as he crossed first base. Clearly in pain, the red-hot Keith (1.343 OPS in five games) hobbled back into the dugout."
