  1. Pratt isn't hitting but has a gold glove, Can he be worse than Ortiz?
  2. Doom and gloom person…. its not our year Optomistic person….. its one week and we have injuries Time will tell
  3. Mitchell on pace for somewhere around 230 RBI's
  4. We got Chad Patrick for Abraham Toro Seems like a steal
  5. What would define a pitching explosion? 5 or 6 guys ranked in the top 100? Several pitchers contributing at the major league level. Both? I think it’s possible
  6. I tend to agree with Bash. The Crew still looks like a strong contender for 2026 but look to be optimizing the near future. They know what they have coming in prospects to go along with our present positional group. And now have incredible pitching depth. It appears to be a well thought out plan that should have Brewer fans excited.
  7. No doubt players will get raises. The arb eligible players are also figured in this year. I was just making the point that there will be a sum of money available next year to make some moves. Maybe that is resigning Woodruff after a Cy Young season or giving Made and Fischer extensions.
  8. Looking at the Cot's spreadsheet for the Brewers payroll next year. To me it looks like with expiring contracts, likely trades (Megill, Vaughn and Contreras) and no bonus' to Woodruff and Hoskins, the Brewers payroll would be half of this year's projected payroll of about 125 million. With the young guys coming up and getting playing time this year does that portend some young player extensions or big free agent acquisitions? Or will the young guys fill all the holes we perceive we have at the moment? Where will we spent our money next offseason?
  9. Fischer The man can hit
  10. Andrew Fischer is manning 3B by June 1.
  11. Todd Johnson quote after the draft “many in our draft room thought Fischer was the best college bat in the draft”. I don’t think it’s the bat but his fielding at 3B that is the question. By all accounts that has gone well. I’m hoping that he is at Am Fam Field later this year.
  12. In one year Made and Pratt are gonna be ready. Cant clog things up with Suarez unless it was that one year deal. Brewers are set in the infield for a long time with those kids almost ready.
  13. If the Bucks trade The Freak losing the Bucks won’t hurt much
  14. So I'm being lazy in asking what our various minor league stadiums seat?
  15. How much seating does a Triple A stadium need to have?
  16. True or not I think once again Brewer fans would, at least initially, be disappointed in the return. Keep him and win this year!
  17. Fischer is ranked that high because he can hit. With power. Defense is a work in progress.
  18. Doubt it They can use him
  19. Can we get someone to help us get past the other top teams? Hard to believe would get someone who would help us more THIS year than FF. But can we with him? We all know our chances but let’s give it our best shot.
  20. All that said, are Pratt and/or Made in line for pre MLB extensions?
  21. arb hearings are not good settle it
  22. I don’t think Seattle is trading their top prospect when there is a spot for him this year on their team.
  23. Talk to a Cubs fan and what do they talk about? Winning it all. It matters.
