    Todd Johnson quote after the draft “many in our draft room thought Fischer was the best college bat in the draft”. I don’t think it’s the bat but his fielding at 3B that is the question. By all accounts that has gone well. I’m hoping that he is at Am Fam Field later this year.

    In one year Made and Pratt are gonna be ready. Cant clog things up with Suarez unless it was that one year deal. Brewers are set in the infield for a long time with those kids almost ready.

    Fischer is ranked that high because he can hit. With power. Defense is a work in progress.

    Conspiracy theory: Of course they run it back with Ortiz, they have to justify the Corbin Burnes trade. But the 197th time he pops up with the bases loaded is the final straw. No I don't think they trade Pratt. Really good glove and has hit at every level while being young at that level. We are spoiled with the development of Chourio and now Made. Pratt will get his shot and it will be with the Brewers. IMO of course.

    Forgot about Adamczewski working in the outfield. Then all of the young pitchers on their way. All brewer fans should be smiling.

    A lot of great work went into that but………I think the angst comes from the number of times Joey came to bat with runners in scoring position and how often he produced nothing. Give him his defensive props, which factors into WAR, but find a SS that can at least once in a while drive in some runs with the bases loaded.

    If the Crew can sign Woodruff to a contract then trading Freddy makes some sense. But we are going to be in it next year so why not keep him. It would have to be a really good offer.
