  1. It’d be cool to see Uribe as Jordan Love and be willing to cash in on Devin but guessing it’s unlikely
  2. So dumb. *** did we trade for Bauers again? Guys stats at 1b would be below average in aaa.
  3. These guys have the majority of their value in the future stemming from their ability to play CF well above average imho. We all know Chourio is going to be the CF regardless of the fact he has to “prove it”. Should we not be trying to move these guys in deals for either prospects at other positions or as heavy sweeteners in a deal along with Corbin Burnes? I hope Arnold is looking into deals to move these two, as I believe at least one of them should be dealt before the season (even at a perceived by the board slightly lesser value) as I feel their value will go down if we hold both another year (time will tell if I’m right on their value a year from now). If we can get their BTV value or 80 percent of it, I’d move at least one but not be afraid to deal both this winter. Thoughts?
  4. who says no? GM should be starting at cf somewhere and Colorado is maybe the perfect fit.
  5. Seems like we should revisit Burnes with the Twins. I’d add what is needed to get Julien and Lee back (would Wiemer and Turang along with Burnes do the trick )?
  6. The word “seems” allows for this to simply be my perception. Whether right or wrong, it is my perception and we will see if it is correct in due time.
  7. I have a feeling Mark “needs” this coming season to have us finish ahead of CC and the Cubs and obviously Burnes helps in that. Thoughts??
  8. Most important to MA seems to be to finish ahead of Counsell and the Cubs the year that CC spurned him. In MA’s eyes, I feel we simply must finish ahead of the Cubbies this year and need Burnes to have our best shot at reaching that feat.
  9. Yankees were awarded a fourth option year on Peraza in case that makes him slightly more valuable to the board/brewers brass.
  10. You just know the yanks are interested and pursuing Corbin. Just have to hope we find a fit.
  11. Maybe Perazza Schmitt Hampton Warren Arias for Burnes and something like Small and Montasario would work.
  12. If if if you can get Mayo Ortiz McDermott and Povich for Williams and Burnes I think you have to pull the trigger. A future infield of Wilken/Ortiz/Black/Mayo with Turang as a Counsell type utility guy sets us up well along with two arms to hit the middle of the rotation.
  13. Abel and Kerkering with a lotto ticket gets it done for Burnes for me
  14. I want Turang at ss if he is playing on the mlb team regularly but I’d need whisenhunt in a straight up Adames deal.
  15. So Hampton Warren Arias and Lalane we’d have to be ok accepting for Burnes, right?
  16. I think Hampton is the arm to want above all of them. I’d want Schmidt Hampton and Warren in any deal but would want a pretty nice fourth piece as well if dealing with NYY (Peraza or Arias would work)
  17. A Yankee fan on Twitter actually posted a poll asking who would say no to Burnes for Perazza, Schmidt, Hampton, and Warren. I voted that the brewers would say no but that’s one I’d actually accept (and we win handily on the admittedly inaccurate BTV site). Thoughts on if you’d accept Burnes for that foursome?
  18. Just in case he might prefer the comfy surroundings of Miller Park and his market stalls from what is expected, is there a number that makes sense to throw his way in terms of years an AAV?
  19. It’s not like the Angels don’t have the money to resign Burnes (and Adames if he went along in a Neto trade). I could see it happening just as easily as Burnes going to a different team. and if if if this trade hypothetically happened, Turang eventually becomes a super utility Counsell type player and black fills in at third or second until Brock comes up to fill third
  20. How long do we ideally need to keep gasser in Nashville to get the extra year of control from him? Same for Black I assume?
  21. Why did it make sense for the Angels to keep Ohtani at the deadline? They make bad moves and could very well want the playoffs at all costs their first year losing Ohtani. I sort of mentioned Adames and Byrnes for Neto Schanuel and a starting pitching prospect. They have a long playoff drought and may want to shake that their first year without Ohtani . Their owner is bad
  22. I wonder if a guy like Cowser might be the prospect they most are willing to move amongst their very top ones. I have a weird feeling he is the one A prospect that we might be able to pry from that top tier . I’d be happy to grab him and 2-3 arms that they are willing to let us have for Corbin.
  23. I have to disagree, Brock. But only if Zach Neto were to become part of the package (maybe with Adames too??). Neto and Schanuel would be a great first and second piece though they aren’t arms .
  24. We have to end up with Schanuel to solidify first base in a deal for sure. Beyond that we’d have to.have Dana and Kent and one more prospect. Thoughts?
