    I feel like credit needs to be given where due. We all know how horrible the Pittsburgh franchise has been the last couple decades, but this is the latest they've been in first place in, well...a really long time. Do I think they can keep it up? No, not really. But I'm sure Pirates fans are feeling good today, and I thing they need to be given their due.

    Desmond's stats look pretty anemic right now, kind of like a shortstop version of Carlos Gomez. Is his potential really that high that we can justify giving up much for him? I admit I haven't followed him much so I'm no expert.

    I agree that Morgan should be batting 1st, but I like this as an alternative. Weeks was going to have to move out of the leadoff spot and some point, and with Braun gone and the team scuffling a bit in the first couple games of the COL series, this was a great time to try it.
