  1. Just have to open up the computer and see what it is. The power supply isn't connected to the computer system in any way that you can 'read' what it is or anything like that. Hopefully, it will be viewable. You'll see the '500W' or maybe the white sticker with the model and serial #. You can look it up from there online. That's what I figured. I'll try to check it out tomorrow.
  2. Yeah, it is an HP. Originally had Windows 7. Is there an easy way to figure out what power supply I have? I believe I did upgrade it from the original maybe 3 or 4 years ago.
  3. One of the funnest moments I can remember watching a baseball game was his inside the park home run during the All-Star game in San Francisco a few years ago. http://m.mlb.com/video/topic/6479266/v22030879/alnl-ichiro-hits-an-insidethepark-home-run
  4. Thanks guys. I knew more info would be needed, but wasn't sure what. Processor is AMD Phenom II X4 810, 2.6 GHz. Motherboard is Foxconn ALOE 1.01
  5. I seem to vaguely remember Selig himself saying he had troubles getting games on the radio in certain locations. I think WTMJ's much stronger signal sealed the deal for them going back.
  6. *bump* Does anyone here know much about PC graphics cards? I have a computer I use mostly for arcade (MAME) gaming, but I'd like to be able to occasionally play some newer stuff. Current card is an Nvidia Geforce FX 430...pretty old and outdated now. Is there an easy way to determine if I can upgrade, and which card I can upgrade to? PC has 8 GB memory and Windows 10.
  7. The north side of Janesville is really a mess in terms of traffic patterns. I doubt it will be getting any better with the continued sprawl of new development and seemingly endless supply of new chain restaurants coming in. Hard to think half of those new fast food restaurants are going to be able to last in such a hyper competitive situation.
  8. Kind of a dud of a game. Wonder if the NL would have done better if Ryan Braun had at least been sitting on the bench.
  9. Peter Gammons with this tidbit on Twitter: "The high cost of bullpen help:Miami gave Chris Paddack for Fernando Rodney. The price tag on Jeremy Jeffress was Paddack, 2 more prospects"
  10. Rijo isn't lighting the world on fire in AA (hitting .185, I read), but adds some infield depth. Obviously, he's young, so he could still turn into something. Wilkerson seems OK. 2.14 ERA in the minors this season over 16 starts, so there's some upside. (That info is via Greg Matzek). Not a hugely exciting return, but this was Aaron Hill, a guy who was a sort of throw in via trade for the Brewers to begin with. Edit: Being reported the Brewers are sending some cash along with Hill. Not sure of how much.
  11. Adam McCalvy says that Wilkerson is going to Colorado Springs and Rijo is going to Brevard County, tentatively.
  12. How about the Mets? I heard talk on the radio yesterday that they're desperate for a decent 3B with David Wright injured.
  13. That's pretty much it. He did the crime, did the time, and I wish folks could just move on. He's still a great player and there's no reason he shouldn't be in this year.
  14. Pretty much. The lengths these guys have to go to "spin" what they're doing is really beyond pathetic. If you constantly have to walk a morality tightrope in order to participate in a "hobby", maybe it's time to move on to something else.
  15. I agree it's a stupid hobby. These guys have rubbed me the wrong way for years, ever since the debacle with the Happy Youngster and Chris Coghlan's first MLB home run ball, which was well documented on this forum.
  16. My experience at Busch in 2011 was actually the opposite. We were in pretty good seats on the third base side. My wife and I had gotten up to get some food. Yes, we left during a break in the action. After we got our food, we stood in the aisle above our section, so as not to interrupt people in the middle of the inning. We were in front of a wall, not in front of anyone's view. The usher said, "You folks need to go to your seats...you can't be standing around here." I looked at my wife, shrugged, and we made people stand up in the middle of the inning. Their rules, I guess.
  17. If neither Braun or Lucroy make it, could it be one of our pitchers instead?
  18. Have to agree. I really don't get why he's still on the Major League roster.
  19. I just want to reiterate that I'm really not a fan of those batting practice jerseys.
  20. I didn't get to see any of this one, and guess I'm glad I didn't bother. More and more of the die hard fans (ie. people who have been Brewers fans all their lives, but aren't on boards like this) I talk to are realizing this team is going nowhere this year. A lot more seem open to trading Braun, Lucroy, etc.
  21. I agree I want the best prospects back possible (who doesn't?). That said, I really don't think the Brewers will have to "eat" a lot of money on this. His contract is not out of line for a player of his caliber and his production this year.
