    We need one more good starting pitcher. A Pitcher like Logan Webb, Joe Ryan, Sonny Grey, Jose Soriano. A guy that can pitch 7 innings. If Brewers are serious about going all the way.

    Brewers are doing it because Ortiz is just over league minimum. Why else would they? Yelich is making 30 times Ortiz's salary which is a farse.

    Freddy cannot be an option where his ERA his last 7 starts is over 7.00 and can't even make it to the 5th inning anymore. Also, with Woodruff most likely going on the injured list, the sooner the better for a good pitcher before we get out bid by the, "money is no option teams."

    Maybe they should promote Andrew Fischer to Nashville because Milwaukee Brewers infield prospect Brock Wilken has had some tough luck the last 2 years. Brock recently returned from an 8-to-10-week absence on the 7-Day Injured List for a dislocated left kneecap (patella) sustained during a June 2025 celebration. Prior to this, he notably missed significant time in April 2024 with multiple facial fractures after being hit by a pitch in the face.

    Well, Yelich is 2 1/2 years younger than Freddie Freeman batting .300 Yelich needs to get over it then, being discouraged.

    Even Bauers outs are 100 mph lately.

    Not Paul Skenes, he has dropped 9 straight starts in a row and only pitching maybe 5 innings tops. Many starts not even qualifying with enough innings for the start and fastball down 5 mph. Pittsburg management can't figure out that something is wrong with his arm? Hello, and they keep pitching him?

    Jake Bauers was asked why he thinks the Brewers are having success again this year and he said, "No egos involved and when you have 26 guys pulling on the same rope its never a bad thing."
