  1. I agree with all 3 have been all disappointments, I see the Blue Jays are unloading there talent which will have many interesting players available at the trade deadline.
  2. Veterans are looked up to by the young guys and are usually the leaders in the clubhouse. They have seen most everything and bring a presence to the clubhouse that keep the order threw the good times and bad, through the weekly grind of a MLB season which is 42 games longer than the minors. In other words they have been around the block and can raise the bar for the younger players and answer there questions. And if your specifically asking about Molina and Pujols they are 2 hall of famers who have played in 41 MLB seasons combined and 21 Allstar game appearances combined. Trust me the young guys looked up to them.
  3. I also think having veteran presence on the team helps, just like Molina and Pujols did with the Cards at the end of there careers.
  4. No way Canha/Santana/Telez would do much more the 10 points better in avg. than Hoskins. IMHO there all kind of below average right now. Hoskins started out great until he slid into second way back early in the season and kind of re injured his knee. But I do expect Hoskins to step it up a little in the 2nd half.
  5. Brewer Hicklen sure is worth a try batting .270 for Nashville.
  6. I am the same way, I watch it for about 5 minutes and have to turn the channel.
  7. Do you think Yoho will be skipping AAA like Chourio did? Because Yoho is only in AA now but a pitcher.
  8. Brewers Draft Picks so far: https://www.mlb.com/draft/tracker/2024/all/team/brewers
  9. We could even trade some of our minor league guys like Aaron Ashby but not much trade value there either.
  10. Abner Uribe, I feel got screwed by the MLB.
  11. Being emotionally and physically drained now is a good time for the All Star break IMHO. We just need to make sure we come back with the same fire for winning and not doing a nose dive. DL Hall, Devin Williams, Joe Ross, Jared Koenig and Gary Sanchez should all be back shortly after the All-Star break. I hope that will re-energize the team to start for the 2nd half. I would also welcome a team benefiting trade somewhere. The Brewers seem to always surprise me somehow with something not even talked about or on the radar.
  12. Yes we are because I think OPS is skewed not everyone is a power hitter, Frelick is 5' 8" How about we use On Base Percentage then? Frelick beats him by 30 points in on base percentage. How about cost to the franchise???? Sal is making $746,500 in 2024 ///// Bellinger is making $30,000,000 in 2024. That is 400% more $$$Cash$$$ per year.
  13. I seen some video of Joc Pederson and he looks like he put on about 30 pounds.
  14. Thank God for the All Star break coming after 1 one game. We look tired.
  15. I'm sure the rating is based on AA standards which is way below the major league level. How could you rate him any different if he has never played at the major league level?? You can't.
  16. Why on earth would you even suggest Darrien Miller could be the answer?? First of all he is in AA baseball. Second he is hitting .228 with one home run all year in AA Biloxi. That actually sucks for being two steps below the major league. He hasn't even proven himself to be good for Biloxi let alone then Nashville and then the next step up Milwaukee.
  17. You must be looking at his 5-5 record because his ERA of 3.44 sure isn't that bad.
  18. Just a reminder Sal Frelick has a higher batting average than Cody Bellenger who has a 3 year 80 million dollar contract. I think your expectations of him are a little skewed with a .272 batting average.
  19. Nationals calling up Jackson Rutledge to start against Brewers Friday.
  20. Winker had about 4-5 very good years during his career, Hiura had zero good years.
