  1. I agree 100% plus the blessing of having Craig Counsell abandon ship for $$$$.
  2. Mears is trying to make the post season roster and bad pitch calling is burning him. But if we noticed it, I know 100% for sure the coaching staff noticed it.
  3. Why when Mears was pitching did he through 4 out of every 5 were fastballs when he has such a great curveball? Contreras shouldn't call the fastball so much. I can hardly even blame Mears for that.
  4. Being Suspended for a full season is a long ass time when a PED suspension is only 80 games. My honest opinion is it should not exceed 80 games either.
  5. He said that not me, it bugged me at first but after watching the replay months later not as much because Uribe was 90% responsible for the whole thing.
  6. I agree 100%. That for sure would Craig Counsell IBS for a day or two.
  7. Great article, I e-mailed it to some family members.
  8. The classic rest vs rust argument. I'm sure the Brewers will pursue the rest side of the argument because being fresh and rested for the pitchers especially is a very good thing.
  9. I sold peanuts at old Co. stadium when I was 15 years old and Robin was a rookie in 1974.
  10. This is like the 3rd inning.
  11. You tell him 300 pounds 6' 5'
  12. Holy Mackerel, You must advertise this because I didn't even know it existed.
  13. Because the Brewers are 72 an 52 and the Dogers are 73-52 the extra win accounts for the 1/2 game.
  14. OOPS. I forgot about the tiebreaker, that makes sense, Your right i'm sure.
  15. Yes, as of right now they have to end up with a better record then the Dodgers unless the Phillys go on a skid.
  16. I see Murphy is mixing up the lineup a little bit today. https://www.mlb.com/gameday/guardians-vs-brewers/2024/08/18/745948/preview
  17. TRAINER’S ROOM Brewers: OF Blake Perkins (calf) participated in running drills on the field before the game and could return to the team by next weekend. ... RHP Trevor Megill (back strain) and RHP Enoli Paredes (forearm strain) will make rehab appearances Sunday with Class A Wisconsin. UP NEXT Brewers RHP Colin Rea (10-4, 3.72 ERA) faces RHP Ben Lively (10-7, 3.71) in the series finale Sunday.
  18. The Brewers should have fired him first. I diliked him immensely.
  19. I'm listening to Chicago Sports radio and the Cubs are saying, "this is our chance to make a run now." "Playing the: Blue Jays, Tigers, Marlins, Pirates, Washington, and Pirates again all in a row." An 18 game streatch that started this past Friday, all losing record teams.
  20. If that is what he did it is good news, I did not know that. But they obviousy chose the route of pitching to contact for a reason.
  21. He is only 28 and I'm hoping he isn't on a downward swing already, but as other good pitchers age they have to change there style of pitching. We just seen Clayton Kershaw and his fastball has dropped 5-6 mph since his rookie season and it seems it has just happened quicker to Freddy Peralta.
  22. Not sure if this is the right place to post this question but: Does the bye hurt MLB teams before the playoffs?
  23. I don't blame Murph, I thought Fred was at the end of his rope in shuch a close game.
  24. You were rirght, you benched Peralta and though he threw a lot of pitches he only gave up 4 hits and 1 run. Keep doing it for the Brewer run to the playoffs.
