    I guess every team go's threw it. Phillies, 'a really good team,' unable to prove it against Yankees. NL East leaders lose their 11th in 15 games but remain confident they'll find a way out.

    He is what he is, with 1427 career at bats his average is right where it has always been, .216 I wouldn't except much different. A back up player for 1st base and in a pinch can play outfield also.

    Well those darn Cardinals are in second all by themselves and creeping up on the Brewers. Only a 5 game lead now that the Brewers lost 2 in a row.

    Also I never seen a pitcher who if he wants to waist a pitch, throw the ball 20" out of the strike zone.

    Freddy doing ok so far, but 53 pitches in 3 inning is high.

    Don't forget about Wiemer's freak knee injury. It actually looked like it popped out of joint.

    MLB Network said Yankees in hard pursuit for Tarik Skubal.

    JMHO: I will say to begin with Wiemer, He kind of sucks but and I don't really care about that but I did love Junis, But. Junis was only good for about 2 maybe 3 innings max before trouble. Montas is good for about 6 innings before he falls apart. So we can get double the length before trouble and I think that is why we made the trade.
