  1. Why am I banned? Or is your site down?

  2. 2 outs on a great pitch @ 97 but high pitch count and Soto flies out. 😃
  3. One run is better than nothing. But we don't want to give it right back Freddie.
  4. Only if you want to build up below MLB avg players. You forgot Joey Wiemer also. If they produce even in spurts over the course of a long MLB season and have average or above ending #s I'm happy. It's the averages below .199 I don't like unless there gold glove caliber "D"
  5. Wednesday’s games are scheduled for 1:10 p.m. ET/12:10 CT and 7:10 p.m. ET/6:10 CT. The Brewers will keep their scheduled starting pitchers in order, meaning Freddy Peralta is scheduled to start Game 1 and 23-year-old phenom Jacob Misiorowski is set for Game 2. For the Mets, Clay Holmes is scheduled to get the ball in Game 1, looking to follow up a strong June. The right-hander posted a 2.93 ERA over five starts, allowing only one run in three of them. New York has not yet announced who will start the twinbill nightcap. Blade Tidwell was originally slated to go against Misiorowski in the second game of the series, but the Mets will first get through Game 1 before deciding their pitching plans.
  6. All true Tomorrow's game times below. 7/2 vs. MIL 1:10 PM EDT 7/2 vs. MIL 7:10 PM EDT
  7. This is a new injury I never heard of. https://www.cbssports.com/fantasy/baseball/news/brewers-rob-zastryzny-placed-on-15-day-injured-list/
  8. I remember when Craig Yoho was all the talk. Came up and got hit pretty good last year but still has a minor league ERA of 1.01 Think he may have a shot again this year?
  9. Barely been given a chance? He has 1113 MLB at bats and is 32 years old. https://www.mlb.com/player/eric-haase-606992
  10. While Vaughn has a .931 OPS in 39 at-bats as a member of the Sounds. Maybe he can be the next Keston Hiura. Hope I'm wrong.
  11. My guess has always been is to catch and let Contreras's hand heal over AS break. Also to test him out to see if he can be more productive than Hasse.
  12. My hope is Seigler takes over for Contreras who's avg is almost 10 points lower than Caleb Durbins. Please let his hand heal, PLEASE!
  13. But it is not speculation about Contreras's finger/hand injury. Also, it is not speculation that Contreras is only in there for defensive purposes at this point since he has dropped below Eric Hasse batting avg. My biggest gripe has always been with Murphy is that he gives preferential treatment to a hand full of certain individuals on the Brewers and Contreras is one of them. On the other hand the pitchers are used to Contreras catching so we can pick our poison. Comparison: https://www.mlb.com/player/eric-haase-606992 https://www.mlb.com/player/william-contreras-661388 I am also all for bringing up Seigler and giving Contreras a month off for treatment. Just let it be Seigler / Hasse for a month and let his finger heal. No better time than the all-star break to get started on that.
  14. 14 - 10 If we want to hang or gain a little ground on the Cubs seems reasonable.
  15. Then one of the Brewers starters needs to become at least a long reliever/closer help. Gasser may be a good one for that.
  16. It wouldn't hurt to have 2 of them because the Brewers rarely have a blowout win so there not needed in a game.
  17. Durbin hitting slightly better than Contreras. Let Contreras's hand heal.
