  1. What? No one has Tyler Alexander in the mix? 😁
  2. This should be called "the sky is falling" thread. You obviously want older veteran players. https://sports.betmgm.com/en/blog/mlb/youngest-oldest-mlb-teams-ranked-by-age-bm03/
  3. Murphy and Ashby both spoke with Logan Henderson after another great outing being 3-0 with a 1.71 ERA. Murphy said: 'You know he will be a significant part of the Brewers future and hate the move because he has been so good but while he's recovering we have bullpen needs. This is a very fragile time where you have to make good decisions that's based on winning and based on preserving starting pitcher depth.” A fourth-round Draft pick in 2021, Henderson missed much of ‘22 with a fractured elbow and topped out at 81 1/3 innings last season, when he climbed as high as the Triple-A level. This year, he’s already logged 51 innings between Triple-A and the Majors, and managing that workload for the remainder of the season is a priority. Murphy said he praised Henderson for his professionalism. It’s already the second time that the Brewers have optioned Henderson back to the Minors the day after an effective Major League start.

  5. Just remember last year Jackson Chourio's "red-hot" performance in the 2024 MLB season, specifically after a slow start, can be described as a period of significant improvement starting around the beginning of June.. By MLB.com, Chourio's batting average jumped to over .300 in July after a period of struggling in the early months, with his season batting average at .210 at the beginning of June.
  6. Tyler Alexander is the new Andrew Chafen of the Brewers, they are darn near identical.
  7. I has to be just roster manipulations otherwise they would have to be the greatest fool run team in the MLB. Brewers probably feel they didn't completely ruin Tyler Alexander's career yet pitching 14 times in the past month.
  8. "Your Milwaukee Brewers First OCD Manager." Maybe the team Dr. should prescribe him Prozac.
  9. 4 1/2 games out a WC spot is definitely doable this early in the season. I doubt we will be able to catch the Cubs. They just have to much talent and money.
  10. Orlando Arcia was DFA'd batting 20 points higher than Ortiez. Arcia would be worth a try just to see if a change of scenery would help like it did for Goldschmidt and Javier Baez. I also think our hitting coach Al LeBoeuf sucks,
  11. You might as well do one on Joey Ortiz also while your at it, since he is not even injured or coming off an injury. Joey Ortiz is fully healthy. Joey is worse than the Contreras with a fractured left middle finger and worse than Yelich with his 2024 season ending back surgery.
  12. Win now, Joey Ortiz is terrible. I posted on a different thread about maybe picking up Orlando Arcia who was just DFA'd. Orlando Arcia is not injured either that I know of. The Atlanta Braves designated him for assignment on May 23, 2025, to make room for the return of Ronald Acuña Jr. from the injured list. If Javier Baez and Paul Goldschmidt both could snap out of it with a trade it sure would be worth a try before 70% of the Brewer fans punt on the 2025 season in May. I still think we are about a 5 game win streak away from being right back in playoff contention.
  13. I guess the Braves are ready to reboot with there MiLB prospects and Brewers: As a team that badly needs to alter something ASAP have our chance right now. Look at how Paul Goldschmidt came alive after leaving StL.
  14. We better get on the horn ASAP: Braves DFA'd Pitcher Chasen Shreve and Orlando Arcia ttps://www.mlb.com/player/chasen-shreve-592741 Braves Release Orlando Arcia. https://atlallday.com/braves-infielder-next-on-the-chopping-block-after-orlando-arcia-01jvz4qdcb8q
  15. Sounds Offense Explodes for 12 Runs to Take Series Over RailRiders Freddy Zamora Ties Career-High with Four Hits. Option B would be to pick up recently DFA'd Orlando Arcia.
  16. Hoskins is doing fine this year unless we bring up EMJ from Nashville to split time with Bauers.
  17. The season is not even 2 months old but when the time comes I'm sure we will be sellers. I won't raise the white surrender flag until we are double digits out of 1st.
  18. Perkins has been unable to run the bases on back-to-back days due to lingering soreness in his shin. He's currently on the 10-day injured list and was originally expected to return in May, but the 28-year-old now sounds like he may not be able to return until sometime in June.
  19. Getting rid of Devin was OK with me, always said he was a head case but the Corbin Burns trade hurt.
  20. The dog days of summer aren't even here yet and being 6.5 games out with 2/3rds of the season to go definitely is not insurmountable. But we do need a leader on this team and it was Adamas last year. Someone needs to step up on this team. We also will be getting some pitchers back soon.
  21. And what is Murphy's love affair with Tyler Alexander I swear that guy pitches in 3 out of every 4 games lately.
  22. They just said Brewers dead last in quality starts out of 30 teams meaning 6 innings. At least he tells the truth,
