  1. Who laughed at me when I said Quintana is our ace? All your freekehn' stats and launch angles, WHIP and everything else is all Crap!!!!!!
  2. Agreed, Ortiz from .239 to .179 can't happen unless if he starts raking. Cooper Pratt will be up after all star break I believe, He will be 21 years old on Aug 18th.
  3. “I’m ready! I’m ready! I’m ready!” We won!! We beat the White Sox!
  4. I hope the Bucks win by 20 tonight.
  5. Joe Madden was just on MLB Network about benching Caleb Durbin and Sal Frelick. He said he believes "it was just an academic exercise to send a message to the whole team not just them personally."
  6. Wind is west south west and Guaranteed Rate Field, the White Sox stadium, faces southeast. This orientation is chosen to minimize the impact of the afternoon sun on the players and the field during games. The Brewers have come away with 10 wins in the 14 contests they have been listed as the favorites in this season. Oddsmakers have given Milwaukee the best odds of winning it has seen this season, with a -240 money line listed for this contest. The Brewers and their opponents have gone over in 12 of their 29 games with a total set by sportsbooks this season. The Brewers have posted a record of 17-12-0 against the spread this season. The White Sox have put together a 7-21 record in games they were listed as the money line underdog (winning 25% of those games). When it has played as a money line underdog with odds of +194 or longer, Chicago has gone 1-7 (12.5%). The White Sox have played in 28 games with a set over/under, and have combined with their opponents to go over the total 12 times (12-14-2). The White Sox have covered 53.6% of their games this season, going 15-13-0 against the spread. Expect Jackson Chourio to have a big game today.
  7. Freddy Peralta being 7 1/2 years younger than Quintana is a plus for Freddy and "should" reinvigorate him. Brandon Woodruff's second pitching appearance for the Timber Rattlers is tomorrow. Tobias Meyers, Aaron Civale and Aaron Ashby all getting close to starting rehab. Things may be looking up for the Brewers.
  8. White Sox host the Brewers to start 3-game series, Milwaukee Brewers (14-15, third in the NL Central) vs. Chicago White Sox (7-21, fifth in the AL Central) PITCHING PROBABLES: Brewers: Freddy Peralta (2-2, 2.43 ERA, 1.08 WHIP, 36 strikeouts); White Sox: Bryse Wilson (0-0, 4.30 ERA, 1.84 WHIP, 10 strikeouts) BETMGM SPORTSBOOK LINE: Brewers -239, White Sox +195; over/under is 8 runs. Chicago is 7-21 overall and 4-8 in home games. The White Sox have a 5-1 record in games when they scored five or more runs. Milwaukee has a 14-15 record overall and a 5-11 record in road games. The Brewers have a 12-2 record in games when they have more hits than their opponents.
  9. Holy crap, you got 20 questions for me out of a few comments I made two days ago after a loss? While your naming half the Brewers roster, coaches, injuries, rehab time, players in the minors with past outings, stats and percentages? I will perpair better before I make a comment after our next loss or a player.
  10. What you talkin bout Willis. He is 4-0 with a 1.14 ERA this season. https://www.mlb.com/player/jose-quintana-500779
  11. Ace Yes, Jose Quintana has just become the third Brewers pitcher to win each of their first four starts with the team, joining Tom Candiotti(1983) and CC Sabathia(2008). Quintana accomplished this feat on April 27, 2025, after pitching against the Cardinals, scattering five hits and three walks.
  12. Rhys Hoskins .296 avg is a big unexpected surprise. 😊
  13. Brewers challenged it and went our way.
  14. Its amazing that if Quintana gets the win today... only 3 other Brewers started 4-0 in Brewers history. Kind of crazy.
  15. I choose feast! Glad to see Durbin in there today with a hit.
  16. In fact we are only 3 days from that anniversary of Murphy's suspension.
  17. When Murphy is managing a baseball team like a fast paced board game that is not a good sign. I think the stress is getting to him. He may be the team member who needs a week off and watch from TV at home. Let Rickie Weeks take over for the next 5 games or so, Weeks did well after Murphy was suspended for 2 games after TB game. Weeks put the spark into this team last season.
  18. You said: In Sentence #1 What unforeseen issues? Then on Sentence #8 Maybe it's just...a team with some players struggling? As I see it: Using 20 different pitchers already this season (Not counting Jake Bauers #21) Is not a quality pitching staff. We are at a point we must average at minimum 7 runs per game to keep winning and I don't see that happening. I also know we have injured pitchers coming back but I can guarantee none will be in tip top form from the get go. Then add into the recipe all our errors, bad throws, mental mistakes and struggling hitters???? We lose today means 4th place in the Central is reality.
  19. Gray usually only go's 6 innings this year so we have a little hope.
  20. Yelich had back surgery last year he may never be an everyday left fielder again. Last thing we need is him on the DL also.
  21. I'm not as good at researching than most here but the Washington Nationals have 2 very good 3rd basemen in AAA plus 2 in the MLB. Just saying maybe we should start looking elsewhere if things don't turn around within the next month.
  22. Still not good since 2/3'rds of all MLB teams are ahead of us in that stat that everyone continually quotes.
  23. This is the second time I have posted this and the first time it got zero responses. We have to start pointing fingers at Al LeBoeuf Brewers new hitting coach for our unforeseen hitting issues. In 2024, Quintin Berry, who served as the Brewers' first base coach, departed to join Craig Counsell's coaching staff with the Chicago Cubs. He now serves as the Cubs' third base coach. Ozzie Timmons, the Brewers' former hitting coach did not return for the 2025 season. The Brewers' new hitting coaches for 2025 are Al LeBoeuf (lead), Eric Theisen, and Connor Dawson. Brewers promote coaches LeBoeuf and Theisen, part ways with Timmons. LeBoeuf will report directly to Murphy under the new configuration, and Theisen and Dawson will report to LeBoeuf.
