I remember going to a Brewers game where our pitcher threw a 1 hitter and still lost. Don't remember what year or anything. But I believe Mussina (when he was on the Orioles) was the opposing pitcher.
This fasinates me. The only thing on the chart I fail to understand is why batter hit so terribly on 3-0 counts. Are they overswinging? I think its really important that the Brewer's pitchers work from in front for the reasons below. In the first two games, Davis did OK at this, and Cappy did very well. Pitch Count Batting Average 3 - 1 .359 1 - 0 .334 2 - 0 .325 0 - 0 .310 2 - 1 .282 1 - 1 .282 0 - 1 .260 3 - 2 .241 0 - 2 .210 1 - 2 .183 2 - 2 .173 3 - 0 .158
Yeah, but Tomo is starting to fall behind hitters. Games where he does that is where he gets torched. As long as he stays ahead in the count, we have a chance.

Our offense looked awesome today. Once Prince gets going, we'll be even more unstoppable. I think this team is definitely legit, and with the bench as solid as it is, I don't think wild card is unrealistic.
