  1. Weird, i'm not having any problems with Firefox or IE.
  2. We're going with the t-shirt design on the left: http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y155/colbyjack/fanfest-tshirt-final.jpg
  3. [ I know this weekend is Memorial Day, but I'd be up for a practice. ] I'll have to check with Nicole to see if we've got anything else planned, but i'm always up for more practice.
  4. [ How did the field look? ] The infield definately looked rained on, but there wasn't any standing water. I definately think it was playable. The outfield was a LITTLE slick, but I don't think it was anywhere near dangerous. Given that the showers were so isolated, I think it's pretty weak that they just cancelled the entire evening. We would have had no problem getting our game in.
  5. It looks like there's still something wrong with BB's and K's... i'll look at it this evening.
  6. [ Kind of freaky to wake up today, 5/21, at 9:30am, and see that apparently, I posted an hour ago..... ] I edited your original post to include the players who were attending practice at 8:30... ezBoard tracks the last time the first post was edited and shows that as the posted date, for some reason.
  7. [ not for tomorrow, but would you guys be cool if i brought out a couple of my teammates and practiced with you guys? I would only bring like 3 or 4, but I figure the more ppl there, the higher the possibility of real game-like situations. ] I think we always need more people for practices...
  8. Sorry about that fellas, it should be fixed momentarily.
  9. I should be there.
  10. [ The whole team talks smak and I'd very much like to give them all they can handle, and a loss. ] It's a bunch of barflies with mullets. I was totally repulsed by their obnoxiousness from what I saw before their game. It's supposed to be a social league, and these guys were acting like it was game 7 of the world series.
  11. [ The ump temporarily believed??? Did he change his mind? ] He did, but it was too late by the time he realized he was wrong.
  12. [ If you want ugly, check out my outfield assist *cough, cough*, bailed out by a heads-up play by the C, P and possible bad call by the ump. U-G-L-Y. ] That was actually my favorite play of the evening. Great job by Brewer Fever to back up home plate while I relayed the throw. I think he might have gotten that call wrong as well, but it was a really good drill, if nothing else. I kinda like catching.
  13. [ whats up with this in the boxscore? ] In my first at-bat, I hit a ball to left field that started heading to the foul side of 3rd base. It hooked back in hit the left field foul line. The ump mistakenly called it a foul ball because he temporarily believed that it didn't matter that the ball hit the foul line, because it was on the foul side of 3rd base when it flew over it. It would have been a run-scoring double, and we would have won in the 7th without having to go extra innings.
  14. I agree, Valpo was JJ Hardy-esque out there tonight. Some real nice plays all around the infield tonight... a couple tough hops by Jamie, a great snare or two by razzor, and nice plays on comebackers by Brewer Fever.
  15. IF YOU ARE A MEMBER OF BREWERFAN.NET AND YOU TROLL ANOTHER TEAM'S SITE, YOU WILL BE BANNED. It's disgusting behavior, and it goes against pretty much everything we stand for here.
  16. Had a fantastic time tonight... I think it was a great game, considering this was our first time playing together as a team. A real fun, evenly matched opponent tonight as well.... they were classy, unlike the team that was playing at 8pm. Even if we would have lost 30-0, I had a blast. I'm looking very forward to next Thursday, and I wouldn't mind squeezing a practice in on Sunday if anyone else is game.
  17. Quite a few BrevCo transactions today: 5/17 Carlos De La Cruz activated from the DL 5/17 Alcides Escobar placed on the DL, retro to 5/16 5/18 Travis Ezi transferred to Huntsville 5/18 CJ Medlin transferred from Extended Spring Training
  18. I hope we don't ever have to throw over to 1B http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  19. Going to postpone again, since weather for Thursday night looks iffy again.
  20. Yeah, something must be going on with ezBoard. I haven't changed anything recently that would have caused this to happen.... hopefully it'll "correct itself", otherwise i'll look into it.
  21. Carlos Lee is in a contract year, and the Brewers are the primary beneficiary. I'm not going to complain about that.
  22. [ I feel like Mitch Hedberg at a gig in the South... ] Alright, if you're going to say "fine", don't proceed with the potshots.
  23. [ Finally, someone who truly gets the idea of true debate. Objectivity and criticism of a team when they're performing badly is a healthy thing. I hope others begin to realize this too. ] There are people who criticize the Brewers in ways that are respectful to other posters' opinions. I refer you to GenoSeligPrieb, xisxisxis, and Ndog to some of the people who lean towards the pessimistic side that don't consistantly draw eyerolls. There's nothing wrong with criticizing the team, but be an adult about it.
