  1. [ Brian, you should hook me up with your supplier. ] http://www.cbc.ca/gfx/images/sports/topstories/2006/06/07/jason-grimsley060607.jpg
  2. Nope, i'm staying in Milwaukee. I'll be pulling weak grounders to SS for another year.
  3. I agree, Radman. I'm putting my pre-order down for HGH tomorrow. Look out, bay street.
  4. Right now, his trade value is rather low, as pogokat mentioned. However, I think that if he can prove he's no longer injured and put up an .833 OPS like he did last year, his value will be very high at the deadline. No reason to rush Braun to open the season... If he plays himself into Milwaukee by the deadline, that would be ideal.
  5. [ i'm much more intrigued by the back catalogue on the virtual console on the wii ] I was big into the Turbografx-16 when it came out, so i'm excited to see it's a supported console. Hopefully they make Military Madness and the Bomberman series available.
  6. I think Mench has some value to a team, whereas Lopez is the kind of guy who's in danger of being non-tendered.
  7. [ Zelda = great, wii sports = meh? ] From everthing I heard, that sounds about right. I'm looking forward to Wii sports though, as I think it's a game I can draw my family into for Christmas... Should be fun, especially for the price tag.
  8. I've got KotOR, but I thought it was really clunky.... that's the problem we had with Elder Scrolls 3 as well. The combat was completely lame. That's the thing Fable has going for it... The combat system is very complex, yet completely intuitive.
  9. It's not going to be released at launch, but Super Mario Galaxy should be available in the near future: www.youtube.com/watch?v=U-Qw1ClCVN8
  10. [ I'm pretty sure I'll end up with a 360 and a wii. I'm just not paying $250 for an overclocked gamecube. ] I'm more interested in how fun the games are vs. the horsepower behind the machine. To me, the motion-sensing aspect of the controller(s) is the selling point.
  11. $249 for the Wii, $49 for Zelda
  12. It sounds like games and consoles are probably in pretty good supply, but i'm assuming consoles will sell out on Sunday, eventually. A Brewerfan.net Wii Sports baseball tourney sounds fun http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  13. This is probably the most excited i've EVER been about a video game system launch. To me, the DS has proved Nintendo's excellence regarding innovation, and I can't wait to get my hands on the new Zelda game. Anyone else fathoming freezing their tails off to get in line for a Wii?
  14. How about Baltimore? That way, everyone can forget about him as the Orioles settle into their normal mediocrity.
  15. I know.... I generally pay $4.99 to talk to someone for the first minute, then $2.99 each additional minute.
  16. I don't think he would have declared free agency if there wasn't a little birdie in his ear from another organization guaranteeing him more money. Or perhaps, unlike Randy Newman, he hates LA.
  17. Squarepusher - Hello Everything Bass guitar, xylophones, and a boatload of electronic noise. What's not to like? If you like weird electronic music, or just want to try something new, listen to the first track Hello Meow. Give this vid a watch for some squarepusher mastery:
  18. [ On a related note, instead of hanging up on the last two pollsters that called me wondering who I was voting for, I decided to have some fun. ] I would have said Peter Venkman.
  19. [ Were you trying to be funny there or something (just because I think Graff is avg)? ] Apparently I needed to try a littler harder.
  20. [ Note: "my tesm" is one that has a legit shot at making the playoffs. ] Yeah, but we're talking about the Brewers.
  21. [ for all this, the guy usually gives you the finger...or pulls in front and jams the brakes ] You probably made him 6 seconds late for his anger management meeting.
  22. [ There are a bunch of variations of that one, such as hurrying to get into traffic in front of me, then going slower than I desire, even when there was plenty of room to simply let me go by in the first place. ] Or the person that speeds up when you pull out a modest distance in front of them in traffic so that it appears that you cut them off. I know people look for an excuse to get angry sometimes, but that's ridiculous. Also the people who are turning left, but don't hug the yellow line so you can't get around them until they turn... ...or the people that appear that they're trying to negotiate a mortgage in the bank drive-thru, when you just want to deposit a check. ...evanescence.
  23. People who tailgate you until you move over, and then proceed to go slower then you after you move over. It's called cruise control.
  24. There could be a host of things wrong, unfortunately, they're all out of my control. Here's a good place to start: help.ezboard.com/
