  1. [ Since bad mojo is flying everywhere on this board, let me add some more: ] I see your jinx, and I raise you: http://www.cs.wisc.edu/~dolensek/newguy.jpg
  2. I had to deactivate the feed generation process due to server load. I'll get it back online soon. We use Java here. PHP is for hackers http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  3. It's offline. The indexing of the site was causing severe performance problems.
  4. [ so if that's the case then laugh at me for taking the time to type this.. ] and i will. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif But seriously, Counsell's rocketing back to earth and Clayton's only slightly better than he was in Milwaukee. I'm not feeling terribly guilty about them producing a little better in Arizona.
  5. [ Their combined stats in Milwaukee don't compare to what they've done in 60% of a year in Arizona. ] Az: .766+.675=1.441 Mil: .645+.634= 1.279 1.441*.60 =.864 Yes they do. They actually compare to what they've done in 88% of a year in Arizona.
  6. As per request, the WOAH SOLVDD shirts are now available in the Brewerfan Store. Coming in August, you will also be able to order Brewerfan.net postage stamps.
  7. [ WHIP facing one hitter. If he gets on, fine. Then you bring in the righty. ] good point. I concede my Yost defense on that issue.
  8. sports.espn.go.com/mlb/pl...yerId=3594 Santana isn't much better against lefties than righties. Eveland pitched last night. JDLR has a bit of a WHIP "issue". I see the logic. It just obviously didn't work out.
  9. [ Did I get deleted for that? oops ] Yeah, I know. It's excessive compared to other fan forums, but we draw the line in the sand a little shorter than the rest to keep things from getting out of hand. It's worked well for us so far.
  10. [ Oh give me a break, we're not in kindergarten here. ] These are the rules i've set down. They're there for a reason. All users are to abide by them.
  11. If i'm going to complain about Yost here, i'm complaining about why he's making defensive substitutions in a tie game, in case they need to start PHing for pitchers in the event of a long game. EDIT: Well, looks like you were right about Santana. I still agree with the logic, however
  12. [ JDLR should be in there. God, Ned is really messing things up. ] Why? Santana's low BA makes him a good candidate to start out an inning. JDLR has been pitching better than he had been of late, but he's a guy who's in danger of putting the winning run on with a walk.
  13. [ DD hit 90 on the gun!!! ] No, I think they're just adding up all the speeds of his pitches.
  14. [ OMG, two lefties in a row!!!?? ] Is that even LEGAL?
  15. Only 24 career at-bats for the enitre team vs. Luke Hudson, with the team having a .468 OPS against him. Overbay's had the most success, at 2-6. Branyan's had the least success at 0-4. Of course, a big-time small sample size warning applies to these numbers.
  16. [ It was on tv, the statement was something like this, "Rickie's brother, Jemile Weeks , who was recently drafted by the Brewers, has apparently decided to attend college due to the number of scholarships he has been offered. ] I could have sworn that they were talking about Kyle Eveland there, and that it was right after their Kyle Eveland interview (making it relevant to that).

  18. Cheers to the user who bought a thong and a tile coaster. ...although, that really seems like it ought to be part of a scavenger hunt http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  19. [ Lousy effort tonight is right. Bottali(stink)o will get some work in and hopefully pitch his way off of this team. Who else wants to see them hang a 5 or 6 spot on Ricky like I do? That would be quite refreshing cause he is horrible. ] I would think that a Brewers fan would be interested in seeing Ricky raise his trade value, as his last outing was just fine. When you start hoping Brewers play bad, it's time to turn off the TV and walk away for a night.
  20. [ There have been several games in the past week where, with GameCast malfunctioning (not today thankfully) and no access to netradio at work, that this is the only way to get play-by-play information. I appreciate the play-by-play, if someone is doing it. Maybe if anyone feels like doing it they can do it spring training style with one edited post? Brian, your site seems to be useful in more ways than you realize. ] If GameCast is malfuctioning, i highly recommend CBS Sportsline's version...
  21. This is why the Brewers need to deal Tomo before the trade deadline. He's totally exposed in hitter's parks.
  22. [ am i breaking rules ? ] No, but out of courtesy, we're all watching some form of the game. Please don't post the play by play.
  23. [ Dunn goes yard ] Helping toby out here... ATTENTION MadisonBrewerBlue don't announce each play in the game thread. it's for conversation only.
