Katin 2-3 with a double, and rbi, 3 walks, and a steal of home? I hear he also rescued a cat out of a tree. -
Jenks for Lee? Yeah, I can see the logic behind that... but PH'ing for Hardy? Hardy was raking all night... If the game was riddled with managing mistakes, i'd put it on Yost... but with this many runners left in scoring position, the professionals gotta come through. His hands weren't 100% clean, but there's plenty of blame to go around.
-
hoffy.... did you want Jenks to face Tavarez to bring in Ray King, or are you talking about a different pinch-hit opportunity?
-
[ I think what it boils down to, is that we hate to see Brewers lose games they should have won. ] At some point, they're going to have to solve the RISP problem, you're right. I guess I would have been much more disappointed if they were playing some mediocre team. ...maybe start trying to get the hitters to hit away more when runners are on. They have some decent away hitters (Hall, Overbay, and now Jenkins is starting to)
-
[ He gave up 3 runs on two swings of the bat. ] ...and one of those were given up on a pretty well-pitched ball. Sheets definately wasn't the goat tonight.... Carlos needs to do a little soul-searching to figure out what's going on. If the Brewers can split the series tomorrow, it would be tremendous. Come on people, these are the freaking Cardinals. If they go 1-3, i'll be disappointed, but if they go 2-2 at Busch, that's just a great job.

That guy reminded me of one of those Chris Farley sketches where he pulls his hair out and acts all self-deprecating.
-
[ Open my eyes? I have them open and see about 5 wins so far. Should I see something else? ] Yeah, a 3.45 ERA and a guy who spent time on the DL.
-
"Rickie Weeks doubles (4) on a pop up to second baseman Abraham Nunez" I hate gameday.
-
Yeah, I gotta keep tabs on this game from work. BOO.
-
My MVPs are: Yost & Hall questionable bunt decision, but excellent use of the staff by Yost tonight. billy hall 2.0 with the great approach. hopefully he doesn't forget it again.

c'mon d-bow, let's hit triple digits.
-
are all of Miller's other fingers broken?
-
I would have agreed with the bunt if it weren't Rickie batting. He's not exactly Mr. Contact.
-
All D-Bow needs is the mustache, and his Pete Ladd conversion will be complete.
-
[ I know other people have said it, but I'd like to echo the sentiment; why do you bunt with Clark? There are times to bunt, but not when you are winning, and your best contact hitter is up. ] ...beacause Yost can't make 3 great moves in a row?
-
[ LOL @ this move....are we TRYING to lose this game? ] Like I said, he brought Santana in to bust Edmonds inside.
-
See you guys in a few, I gotta go clean my shorts.
-
Santana's going to be busting Edmonds inside, here.
-
Hey Jorge, my blood pressure can't take this.
-
[ I'll never let you go?? ] Is there any other?
-
I'm not sure what was worse for me tonight: a) watching Rickie choke in the clutch b) taking the dog out and having to listen to a guy blast some Steelheart out of his truck.
-
[ Weird, LaRussa had Suppan bat even though he was going to bring in a reliver the next inning? I don't get it. ] This is why LaRussa's such an awesome manager, right Geno?
