  1. Yeah, we should have DFA'd or released Yovani when he had a 6.10 ERA after 7 starts this year too right? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eyes.gif
  2. Pulling the infield in I think is more indicative of the respect we have for Niese, not necessarily a lack of confidence in our offense. And no, you don't pull Yo in the 4th after giving up just 2 runs. His stuff doesn't seem too bad - he's got a pretty small strike zone from Paul Emmel and is working deep counts. Lastly, how unlucky has Rickie been the last few games? He has been scorching balls and hitting them right to defenders.
  3. Why was Braddock not in against a lefty in a situation where we needed a K?
  4. I just had tornado sirens go off near our house in Waukesha. It was definitely a ballsy decision to open the roof
  5. Since Opening Day,Wil Nieves has been hitting .113 with 1 extra base hit. This is getting beyond ridiculous Melvin. You've got two perfectly capable replacements in Nashville right now.
  6. Why didn't Lucroy at least run to first? What an abomination of an inning... Hopefully Greinke can make up for it
  7. Quade said he had a sleepless night last night after deciding to pitch to Pujols. Should he be on suicide watch now?
  8. Dillard should have gotten a pie to the face during that interview for his first major league W.
  9. What an amazing win on so many levels. Narvy vs. Sanchez - I was truthfully expecting an L. Lost the 5-run lead - once again; fully expecting a loss. Bases juiced with one out in the bottom 9 - no way we win But somehow we won. I vow to make a series like this make me less pessimistic going forward.
  10. Wow, our winning percentage went down to 50% after the 3-1 count. Now we're back up to 74%. C'mon AX!
  11. What a job by Estrada there with Bonifacio; beautiful changeups. One more here Marco!
  12. I just got tickets to Tuesday's game and I was extremely excited to see it's Marcum vs. Cappy (I haven't gotten to see Marcum live yet this year either). I really really hope he gets the welcome he deserves. He was essentially a throw-in in that Sexson trade and turned in to an 18-game winner for us. He was always a class act and was great with the fans.
  13. Love the curve-for-strike pitch there. Totally surprised him
  14. Everything about that inning has me just infuriated.
  15. Man; Prince up 3-1 with Braun on first and no outs.... I was expecting better things from that inning
  16. I had strabismus eye surgery on both of my eyes today and I was more nervous in that 9th inning then before the surgery
  17. Out of curiosity, what does "the book" say about outfield depth in a situation like this with 2 on?
  18. To be fair, Kotsay wasn't in scoring position to start the AB. Do you PH Lucroy mid-AB for Nieves?
  19. And to that extent; Melvin needs to recall Kotteras or Rivera immediately so that there's no chance of that useless load ever being behind the plate.
  20. Yeah, they mentioned it at the beginning of the broadcast.Okay; I missed that. That's too bad we're without him for a 4 inning start from Wolf. Hopefully Estrada is good today
  21. Has it been mentioned yet that LaTroy isn't available today? He just tweeted from his sons graduation
  22. That slow curveball is cute, and it may get some oooh's and aaah's from the crowd -- but it's not working at all today.
