  1. I cannot stand how the Marlins announcers were calling these parts of the games. They recap the night, and explain how "he hit Morgan in a professional manner; they didn't throw at his head" and then dog the guy for stealing some bases (successfully I may add). Then it's Morgan that needs to be seriously dealt with by the MLB before someone gets hurt... I'm sorry but I see nothing wrong with what Morgan did tonight. If he didn't have a track record, this would not be as big of an issue.
  2. Well the Evo continues to amaze me. Today I got a "5 minute warning before draft" text from a buddy of mine warning me of our fantasy football draft. I, of course, received this while at work at my part-time job at Walgreens. The Evo ran, and quite well I may add, the full draft application, with chat and all, in flash format and allowed me to stealthy complete my entire draft today during work.
  3. Okay, thanks for the answer - that's sort of what I assumed.
  4. Quick baseball rule question: Are all of these fielder's choices at home wiping out potential Narvy ER's and putting runners on that are considered McClendons? How does that ruling work?
  5. You're absolutely right about the Evo's screen. The screen color and brightness look great when you're just looking at it. When you compare it against the mighty Samsung Galaxy S and iPhone 4 screens, as far as color and resolution - sure it loses -, but the screen in and of itself is absolutely beautiful; not to mention huge. As far as it being too big, I really don't think that's an issue and I was one who was genuinely concerned with that before I purchased it. The Epic has basically the same dimensions despite having a smaller screen, so there's no advantage there. The Evo is slim enough that it still fits in your pocket just fine even with the large overall size. I will say that it is hard coming from a real keyboard to an extent. I went from an LG Rumor, to a Palm Pre, and then finally made the switch to software keyboards. I have some of the biggest sausage fingers in the land, and I can type just as fast and accurate now that I've gotten used to it. Drunk-texting is near impossible, but I'm not going to blame HTC on that one... http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif
  6. I've got the Evo and was heavily considering switching to the Epic but decided against it. I guess I just wouldn't be able to justify the extra $50. The Epic has a much nicer screen, better 3D gaming, and slide-out keyboard while the Evo is thinner, has a better camera, and a bigger screen. I guess you should choose based on that. Either way, you will not be disappointed with either.
  7. I've tuned in to a documentary on Crystal Meth on Nat Geo until the Brewers special on ESPN comes on. Just about anything is going to be better than this game though...
  8. If someone could pass that file on to me, I'd greatly appreciate it. bluedevils4life1ATwi-dot-rr-dot-com
  9. This is getting downright ridiculous. Do a double switch here Macha and pull Escobar
  10. I don't know if I want to see a photo of it because I'll just be mad I didn't pay in full early enough!
  11. Not that big because Soto dropped the ball bracing for the collision and then ended up backing off a little bit right before the collision. You could tell that Rickie would have blown him up though if it would have been a full-fledged play-at-the-plate. As it was he still knocked off Soto's mask and initiated pretty good contact.
  12. It sure was; but "as a pitcher, you need that pitch" http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eyes.gif
  13. Does anyone else think Millar is just obnoxious like I do? He can't stop talking about his own career, and is constantly making errors. He keeps calling La Russa "Lasorda"
  14. I don't think Corey Hart's overpaid at all with his production so far. I would definitely have to add Suppan and Hawkins to the overpaid, as well as Randy Wolf and Doug Davis and Dave Bush (though I do think they will turn it around).
  15. And now Bill says Mike Lamb was on the Brewers last year.... Bill should really take a few plays off here.
  16. I hate intentional walks to load the bases for pitcher like Suppan...
  17. Yeah, I though he was only allowed to pitch in blowouts. Then I guess we better make it a blowout in the bottom of the 5th here.
  18. Video of the 9th He really does look decent here. 6th position of the year for Hall.
  19. Wow, that's a little surprising. Davey Nelson at least gave Gallardo the player of the game on the radio broadcast.
  20. The day after he took a full count pitch that was easily close enough to swing at for a walk-off walk? sheesh...
  21. I agree 100%. I'm also going to the game tomorrow and really want to see Cappy pitch again.
  22. Weird little baseball question here: Why is Gomez even on deck here? There is absolutely no way he'll get to hit this inning. Just something that crossed my mind as I'm sitting here fuming about Macha...
  23. This is unreal. You gotta use LuCroy and assume he'll win the game.
