Need to keep it going so Jody can get his triple.

    I missed it . . . thanks!

The ump at our game tonight asked our pitcher if he'd seen the celebration after Prince's walkoff. They thought it was great. Neither of them has any connection to the Brewers. So that's my man on the street view. I thought BBTN had it right too. Here's a team that's out of it and they're still playing hard (Prince's slide on the 2B) and still having fun. What's wrong with that?

There are some good posts on that Cardinal site, especially averagejoe or whatever. So their fans aren't all lame. I hadn't seen an update on La Russa's lawsuit until now. When he dropped it he lied and said twitter agreed to pay his legal fees but twitter managed to set the record straight. Stay classy guys.

I stepped out for 2 minutes to put away the groceries and wondered why the inning was over when I got back. Sweet. Already posted on the highlights though.

Thanks hawing. Time to gear up for Bucky.

I thought we'd get the Giants in CA but it's Red Sox/White Sox too.

Good job by Soup. It was cute hearing his wife wince and sweat in the 2d. Ueck and the K of Zito calmed her down.

Two Fails for Baseball Jesus. Awesome.

4 ABs this series with a go-ahead RBI for McGehee.
  11. sdcheezhd
Cards announcer on McGehee's single says Catalanotto gambled but read it perfectly so he didn't get doubled up. I guess we're getting 4 outs tonight.

Brevard Co. easily and Huntsville on the last day I think.
  13. sdcheezhd
They are back on at 9:25 EDT, earlier than expected. Coffey back out for the 8th.
  14. sdcheezhd
Brewers were swept by Detroit right after the Cleveland series. I think the Twins and Rockies are the other sweeps.

    One down.

Marine layer has been burning off early so you should be OK. If Sun. am is gloomy where you are try Coronado which is also close to downtown.

I'll be at Petco tonight and tomorrow. They are apparently having a video tribute to Trevor about 10 minutes before game time tonight.

SoCal I have to be in NoCal for 2 weeks starting Sunday so will miss LA this year.

How about losing to the Padres? I have tix for Fri. and Sat.

Anybody know if this is a Brewer record for most runs given up in 2 straight innings? I was at a Brewers/Orioles game in the 70s where they gave up 6 in the 9th and 5 in the 10th to lose 11-6. That's the worst I remember until now.

I didn't see it or hear it but BBTN's take was that Braun did nothing wrong, Karstens deserved to get hit, if he had just gone to 1st like Kendall told him to nothing would have happened but instead he and his punk team started a fight. All love for the Brewers and none for the Pirates.

So mlb.com has Yo and Cueto meeting in the rubber game as the Reds and Brewers each vie for the series win. Who writes this stuff?
  24. sdcheezhd
If he grooved a first pitch strike maybe. But he fell behind Encarnacion too. They should have had somebody up when he walked the 1st guy and then pulled him as soon as he threw ball 1 to Encarnacion. If Janish had any power he would have hit it out too.

Right, did not know about the DH. Although worst case is tied in GBs for 2d, percentage points behind.
