  1. Not sure when or why Rock decided he does not need to work every game....but I'm a huge fan of that decision.
  2. Ok. I guess Sophia is there, but any info on Hader must be top secret.
  3. Sutter pitched one inning yesterday, so did Boxberger. Neither of them are better options?. Also, almost zero mention from B.A or Rock regarding what is going on with Hader. Does Sophia have off today?
  4. B.A.: "We'll see who comes out in the 11th for Milwaukee". Well Brian, you are there, you should know who was warming up - not that its relevant information the viewers should know or anything.
  5. Wouldn't it be nice if the announcers would tell us who, if anyone, is warming up??
  6. Why Wong?! Has modern analytics not taught us anything?
  7. I don't understand the mention of me in the 3rd paragraph? I don't remember ever commenting on the City connect logo or uniforms. I think maybe you meant @Patrickgpe. Or, are you saying I'm a bit meh? ?
  8. Of course, no mention of how unusual this is from Brewers TV announcers. Really guys? No question of why Hader is not pitching here?
  9. I sure hope that the people that were on the ledge during the first series of the year are feeling a bit more optimistic now and have come to understand how long a MLB season is (some of the in game thread posts for those games were really over the top).
  10. Enjoy listening to Tim Dillard more than Rock. However, his comment last inning regarding auto strike zone and catchers good at framing...ughh.. Tim, not how it works. Framing will become a non-factor. It records the pitch as it goes through the strike zone. What the catcher does with the ball or how he moves his glove after that would not be important.
  11. The Brewers picking up the tab at bars is cool, but I hope they are also covering Uber rides home.
  12. There is a little more to the story https://www.yahoo.com/sports/juco-baseball-suspension-owen-woodward-weatherford-nctc-230146756.html I don't care what the guy said, and it may have been completely inappropriate, but I don't see how this is ever an appropriate response. What happened to old "Sticks and stones" adage?
  13. For those with the MLB app, is anyone else experiencing this issue? When you click on a game it asks if you want to start from the beginning or if you want to watch it live. I always choose live, but it still starts at the beginning. My son says the same thing happens to him. You can still fast forward to "live", but annoying. If anyone else here is experiencing this, do you know how to fix it? Edit: I guess this only happens on Roku devices according to my son.
  14. Another one. +2.34 runs for St. Louis. Basically gave them the game. Automated strike zone can not come soon enough.
  15. They no longer serve single patty burgers at AmFam. I don't need more than one patty. I can't believe that is not an option. And the next best option (double patty) that we settled for was undercooked. I think they were rushing them as we had to wait 5 minutes before getting ours.
  16. This, to me is infuriating: https://www.yahoo.com/sports/umpire-missed-whopping-27-calls-210544185.html While missing that many calls is mind blowing, the part of it that makes me angry the most is that absolutely nothing will happen to him. He won't be forced to improve. His job will not be in jeopardy if he doesn't improve. There is no motivation for him to improve. Just total and complete job security.
  17. I was 21 years old and a Junior at UWM. I was at the Black Steer restaurant on Hwy 100 and Greenfield with my family for an Easter dinner (or maybe it was called Steakhouse 100 at the time? - either way, it's not there anymore. There is a Walgreens there now.) . The game was on in the bar and I had to keep getting up from the table to go see what was going on. I don't think my Mom was very happy with me constantly leaving the table. I remember that was not one of my better semesters in college as I was very much distracted by the Brewers in April. That was also the Molitor hit streak season - but that was during the Summer months.
  18. Oh. Ok. Its on TNT, but it is also on Bally (per the channel guide). Odd.
  19. The Bucks playoff game is on Bally sports? If that is not a clear sign that too many teams make the playoffs, I'm not sure what is.
  20. There has to be times when the Brewers are willing to pitch Hader for one out in the 8th. This should certainly be one of them.
  21. The video is from 2017, so I thought the book would be completed by now.
