  1. Out of curiosity, which team of these do you root for? I'm guessing it's not the "Brews."
  2. One was put up as a BIN for 159 that ended on April 2, no one bit.
  3. I have a two available. they do have a crease in em though. No real good way to carry around a 5x8 magnet while drunk. Cover the shipping and it's yers.
  4. This may not currently apply, but in 2011 I went out to Fenway for the weekend to see the Brewers play and their fans were great to us. Very cordial, and had nothing but good things to say about both the team and our fans. Even praising Brewers fans for their knowledge of baseball and the fact that we weren't obnoxious fans. I even got a few "Hope to see you visit us again in October!" From my experience I have nothing but respect for Boston fans.
  5. That's they way I felt about it too. But Taker is now 50, and he didn't look great last night. I don't follow wrestling a whole lot these days, but it's a tradition to go out to my wife's parents to watch Wrestlemania each year. Enjoyed both matches with Daniel Bryan, though predictable, they were great, especially the headliner. The Shield match was pretty quick, guessing the Bryan/Triple H match could've gone longer than planned, or maybe the intro? Hogan/Austin/Rock were out there for a good 25-30 minutes. It was entertaining, but a little long. The Cena/Wyatt match was really REALLY drawn out and pretty boring in general. The Diva match was a waste of time. Shocked about Taker getting pinned, as was everyone else. If anyone put money on Lesnar, they cleaned up. Read something it was either 350-1 or 850-1? Betting on Wrestling is ridiculous to begin with though. As others said, it was okay, not great. Coulda had a few better story lines.
  6. I used to like Leff's wings a lot, used to go there every Tuesday about 8 years ago. Then their wings went up rapidly and now Tuesday night isn't even a deal. I like Points East wings a lot, and Stenny's are also pretty good. I'd check those out. Shuttle's wings can be descent, as are O'Lydia's. I also like Brothers if you can get over there while the Brewers are on the west coast. 15 cent wings and buck fifty High Lifes. The special starts at 9, but get there around 8 or a bit earlier. You'll be in line for an hour or so no matter what, so might as well get in early and find a good table to get yer wings by first pitch. Prolly not as good as the places above, but worth it for sure, especially at that price.
  7. When we had cable, the Big Bang Theory was on like every night for two hours. I couldn't stand it. Blah. Curb Your Enthusiasm, The League, Seinfeld, Cosby Show, Louie, Lucky Louie, Party Down, Freaks and Geeks, Flight of the Concords, Eastbound and Down, and Arrested Development are all great and highly recommended. Especially Curb, Concords and Eastbound and Down if you liked Seinfeld and have HBO.
  8. People line up stupid early for Uecker seats on bobblehead days. Tickets go on sale an hour and a half before game times, and people line up at least 2 hours before that. They sell 120 tickets total (give or take). If you are in the first 50-75 you probably have a good shot, but it seems like slowly but surely people skip. Some guys get pretty irrate about it, some don't. They can only be bought at window 12. It's a buck a ticket and you can only buy one per person. On bobble days they are gone in 15 minutes. You'll notice the same 15 guys in the front of the line every time.
  9. This is all I have to say about this: 50 Grand per at bat.
  10. Mark Lee on 1991 Topps in black sharpie Danny Walton on 1970 and 1971 Topps in blue sharpie
  11. I heard rumors of this swirling for a few weeks. I'm indifferent. I think the entire story of Hank is really a feel good story and I'm really happy for the dog. On the other hand JSOnline can't stop reporting on him and I think the percentage given to the Humane Society for what the Brewers do on shirts should be much higher, at least 50%.
  12. CBS (I believe) said they ended the game out of respect to Chapman. A lot of players were shook up, including the hitter, who left the field sobbing (via Twitter).
  13. Some good news from Twitter: @M_Sheldon: Chapman suffered laceration above left eye, Price said. Never lost consciousness and was talking, moving #reds
  14. http://cincinnati.reds.mlb.com/news/article/cin/reds-pitcher-aroldis-chapman-carried-off-on-stretcher-after-getting-hit-in-head?ymd=20140319&content_id=69669716
  15. I'm not a season ticket holder this year, but my guess would be that they just aren't done yet. I'd bet mid-April. You probably will have to pick them up from the stadium as that's much easier than shipping. Again, just my guess.
  16. I'll be there. I love it. II think it's my 10th year in a row, and probably my 15th overall. I tend to have a few more beverages than at normal games. The drunks can drive me nuts, so if ya can't beat em, join em. Makes it easier to manage. Though last year some super wasted guy charged me in the parking lot port-a-john line because he thought I was talking about him (which I wasn't).
  17. Jack Lind Miller Brewery 25th Anniversary in black sharpie Dick Schofield, Sr Miller Brewery 25th Anniversary in black sharpie Lance Rautzhan Miller Brewery 25th Anniversary in blue sharpie Ray Krawczyk Miller Brewery 25th Anniversary in black sharpie John Kennedy 1969, 1970 Topps in fine blue sharpie
  18. Ed Farmer, Ken McMullen, Tommy Reynolds, all in blue sharpie all on the 1994 Miller Brewery anniversary cards.
  19. Dan Pavletich (Brewers card, never played on team). 1972 Topps in blue sharpie Max Alvis 1994 Miller Brewery Anniversary card in blue sharpie
  20. Rich Folkers in blue sharpie on the 25th anniversary card Joe Azcue in blue sharpie on 25th anniversary card Joe Nossek in black pen on 76, 77 Topps
  21. Jim Gosger (Pilots) in blue sharpie. Rob Gardner The dreaded return to sender.
  22. I can absolutely get behind that. Navy jersey too! Now if they can just get a "Milwaukee" jersey this year. They can have one for Juan Francisco and if he had that jersey I'd want it.
  23. If it was closer I'd consider going. Probably some nice jerseys of guys that are close to being called up, or already have.
  24. Rob Ellis in blue sharpie on a Miller Brewery card, (along with a two page typed and signed letter), Alex Grammas in blue on 1976, 77 Topps.
  25. Everytime I see his card I just see it as a really big F.U. haha
