  1. About two weeks ago I renewed my membership to Sportscollectors.net. About a week later I realized I shoulda just got the Harvey list. I don't know much about it, but I know at least one member here has got it in the past. Is it a mailed list? Is it available online? I believe that lists are sold per sport. I've got enough cards of players that sign through the Harvey List addresses but aren't available on SC.net that I meant to get it, just forgot when my SC.net membership ran out. The Harvey List is something like 50 bucks a year opposed to the 15. Anyone interestd in going in on a year membership and split the fees equally?
  2. Session Name: MIL AT WSH Session Date: April 15, 2011 Autographer: Authenticator: AUTHENTICATORS, INC. Additional Information: MILWAUKEE BREWERS COMMEMORATIVE JACKIE ROBINSON DAY JERSEY WORN BY KAMERON LOE
  3. Anyone going that will have an extra Stich N Pitch. I kinda dropped the ball this year. I used to get tickets through my rep, but didn't get a 10 pack this year. I tried buying them from the ticket office and they wouldn't let me. I then went online and didn't wanna pay the 15 bucks extra (or more) and figured I'd call the box office. Then I forgot. Lemme know, I may have an older Stich N Pitch available (not the Chorizo) to trade. Or I can buy one off you. Thanks.
  4. Bases are pretty neat, but how do you display them? How did you manage to get one?
  5. Does Bartman get one?
  6. Makes sense for the Cubs to give out a Babe Ruth bobblehead. Was it to commemerate when he "called his shot" in the World Series?
  7. Nelson was the one name that came to mind or possibly Fiers if continues with what he's been doing as well.
  8. My guess is almost certainly, but the Blue Jays will be sellers at the deadline. Is there anyway the Brewers go after bat this year instead of an arm, and what would we have to give up to get him?
  9. I teach in algebra in MPS. This class has the highest failing rate at our school, most likely in all MPS high school. There's a little less than five weeks left of school (including exams). My afternoon classes have completely checked out, and kids who are passing have checked out and will most likely fail the semester because of it. Very frustrating.
  10. Glad you had a good time! I only could make it on Friday and I took home my first loss of the season. Now 3-1 on the year. Was more than happy to give suggestions. I love helping out fans from out of town. Edit: I'm curious to hear about what you all did when you weren't at Miller Park.
  11. This channel 6 news intro from the 80's is pretty incredible.
  12. Got Billy Jo Robidoux's 1986 Topps Traded card back after like 200 days. Also got back Frank Baumann's 1958 rookie card, he never played for the Brewers but we share the same last name, so figured why not.
  13. I had three extra Chorizo's after Stitch n Pitch. Sold em all off for about 35-45 each two years ago. Oh well. I don't even think I got nearly as much as I planned for my extra Bernie last summer. 125 or so if I remember correctly.
  14. Any info on what the balloon hunt was all about? It was always about this time they did the garden gnomes. Glad I got the Bernie, didn't go out of my way to get the other ones.
  15. The Stich N Pitch sausage bobbles are sitting around 30-40 each. I'm debating even going to that game and just getting one on eBay. Those are 1000 of those made. If theres 1000 of the Seguras those could drop to the 40-50 range. As most of us know, the bobblehead fad has become watered down and with so many out there now there isn't many die hard collectors starting up now. And lots (like myself) who are stepping away. Once the die hards get theirs, the auction prices will continue to drop until it levels out.
  16. Topps/Bowman are the only cards that have MLB rights, correct. Donruss just came out with a new set, and it's REALLY difficult for me to get past all the logos brushed out. Though I do really like the layout otherwise. Just not enough for me to wanna buy any packs. http://www.sportscollectorsdaily.com/panini-brings-back-donruss-name-2014-baseball-set/ I bought a few boxes of 2013 Topps last year and built a base set which I enjoyed a lot. Each box came with a relic card or a signature. I got jersey relics of Strasburg's first start and Weaver's no hitter, only to find out that both cards don't represent any given game and aren't worth more than a few bucks each. For the entertainment value it was worth it to buy a couple boxes, but you need to probably bust a case of cards to really hit on anything big. For roughly the same price you can get a box of 84 Topps and enjoy ripping that for the nostalgia value.
  17. A lot of collectors of modern seem to enjoy Topps Heritage.
  18. I'm going tonight and was thinking I'd pick up a couple at the price they're selling on eBay. After seeing that I'm ALL. SET.
  19. OT: I just went through it, and I believe the bobble check list is updated (prices not included). Feel free to inbox me if I'm wrong.
  20. I'll get one for 50. I'll wait it out though.
  21. To the 14th we go. Just got to the party, thanks for having me. It's been awhile!
  22. Right now is a seller's market for sure. This is one that I would like to get, but I'm not paying more than 50 for it.
  23. Do it now. Once people see what it went for the market will be flooded.
