  1. Personally, I'd love to see the trio of Attanasio, Iceman and Bill Hall in a track suit.
  2. I need to get another group of cards together and start writing more letters. Sent out my last batch in September, there's still about 15 that I'm still waiting for but I'm starting to lose faith.
  3. This is exactly why I stopped caring.
  4. Clyde Wright black marker, he also returned a glossy postcard about Jesus, which I think contributed to his signature being smudged.
  5. Buck Martinez and Tom Murphy, both in blue sharpie
  6. Jim Colborn in blue sharpie Tom Brunansky in blue sharpie
  7. Rickey Bones in black sharpie (card came back creased though) Jaime Navarro in black sharpie
  8. The one thing I will say about Lawrie is that he leads the league in stupid party pictures.
  9. That's good to know BSC. I did mail it to the Cubs. No return. I know what his sig looks like so I'll see how different it is, if I get it back. Troy O'Leary black sharpie.
  10. Just saw this now but we like stopping at Hot Doug's. It's a great hot dog place. Great music playing, and all sorts of different dogs on their menu. Duck fat fries! Al's Hot Beef. Geno's Pizza (very touristy, but I still like their za a lot). Reckless Records is great for music fans.
  11. Lucked out today! Rob Deer 86 Topps Traded in blue sharpie. Only has a 32% return rate. I was mailing to Bell and Svuem, figured I'd mail one to Deer and Bosio too. 3 for 4 ain't bad for the Cubs coaches.
  12. I noticed that after the fact...but the one I got looks just like the ones that had pics from his production company. The other pics didn't look like his at all. I'll prolly send another one to his company and see what happens.
  13. Rickey Keeton in black sharpie Mark Ciardi in black sharpie Jack Lozarko in black sharpie Pete Ladd in blue sharpie Floyd Wicker in black sharpie
  14. I'm almost certain someone was trying to sell a Vuck signed baseball on here within the last few months. I have a buddy that is looking to get one to help complete his 1982 set. If you have one that your looking to get rid of, let me know. Thanks Corey
  15. psacard.com has a registry too. who are you looking to collect? http://www.psacard.com/PSASetRegistry/ that should have many, if not all the cards of a particular player too.
  16. Bob Reynolds, Tom Hausman, and Bill Parsons.... BCS, if you try mailing to Larry Anderson, don't send it to the Phillies, it's not the same guy.
  17. Jay Aldrich in black sharpie. I dunno if I said this earlier, my goal is to get as many players as possible on their first Brewers cards. So I manage to get a buncha rookies, or Topps Traded cards.
  18. nice. are they doing these until the end of the season? i'd go for one. i'd love a Hall jersey
  19. FUBAR is an absolute classic. But FUBAR 2: Balls To The Wall isn't nearly as good, and kinda depressing (but it is available on netflix). I wouldn't watch the second one till you see the first, and I would almost say don't even bother with the second one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tIpD1kXDpWI
  20. Good to know Surhoff is signing through the mail right now, looked like his percentages weren't that high last I checked. I gotta get one out to him. I sent a card to Greg Brock, but at a Milwaukee address...that was early June. Might wanna send him another card too. I got a few back over the weekend: Pete Broberg, Bill Castro, and Jose Valentin. I also got a Ed Sprague unsigned 72 Topps Reds card back. I sent him a 75 Topps. Guh. I wonder what went wrong, he's got a 98% rate. I'll have to hunt down another one of his cards and try again I think.
  21. Oh man, but what you got is SO. FREAKING. AWESOME!!! I'm goin outta town tomorrow, so I'll be missing it as well. Curious to know the prices on jerseys. Tonight I saw an Aoki 1948 throwback from a game at Target Field is going for 1500. It was a really great looking jersey though.
  22. Got home from vacation today and had these cards waiting for me: Bernie Carbo (black sharpie) John Felske (black sharpie) Bob Hansen (fine blue sharpie) Mark Knudson (black sharpie) Lew Krausse (blue pen) Sixto Lezcano (fine blue sharpie) Joe Oliver (blue sharpie) Dan Plesac (black sharpie) Ellie Rodriguez (black sharpie) Ken Sanders (blue sharpie) Ted Savage (blue pen) Franklin Stubbs (blue sharpie) Greg Vaughn 89 Fleer Update (blue sharpie) Greg Vaughn 90 Topps (blue sharpie) Was starting to wonder if Plesac would return mine, and really stoked that Vaughn signed both mine since his success rate wasn't super high. Bob Hansen, Mark Knudson, and Ted Savage all answered my questions. Hansen actually wished me luck on my collection ans signed the letter, which was really nice of him.
