  1. i'll be going to the Sun Times show in November, there's usually a guy who has a buncha mcfarlanes. I can get you one there, but it's not for a few months...
  2. I thought I posted this earlier, but I guess it wasn't submitted. Where did you see that Derek Lee? Did it sell on eBay? Do you know how much? I've never seen it, and I'm guessing the other die hard collectors on here haven't either or it woulda been brought up by now (and trust me, you'll know when one of em think you've made a mistake). I added it to the "Other" category. Look out George Plaster, you've got a new rival.
  3. Non Affiliated, Hockey, High School, Non Bobbles This is the list that is open for interpretation. There has been excessive debate on whether or not the following are necessary for a complete collection. I added in some nesting dolls, a wobbler, and a statue giveaway since they are generally displayed with bobble collections. Jim Gantner (Wisconsin Woodchucks, 2008) Gorman Thomas (Wisconsin Woodchucks, 2007) Robin Yount (Wisconsin Woodchucks, 2008) Hank Aaron (Milwaukee Brewers, Retail, 1974) Hank Aaron Mini (Eau Claire Express, 2012) Prince Fielder (Eau Gallie HS, Retail) Ben Stanczyk (La Crosse Loggers, 2007) Ben Sheets (Milwaukee Admirals) Bob Uecker (Milwaukee Admirals) Dale Svuem (Altoona Curves) Jim Slaton (Lancaster) Rick Vaughn (Cleveland Indians) Randy Ready (Fort Wayne Wizards) Corey Hart (Bowling Green Hotrods) Lakeshore Chinooks 2013 Jim Gantner 2014 Bob Uecker 2014 Robin Yount 2015 "Gill" Mascot 2015 Paul Molitor 2015 Eddie Morgan 2015 "Fry" the Racing Minnow 2015 "Wanda" the Rancing Minnow 2015 "Ruffy" the Racing Minnow 2016 Hank Aaron 2016 Ryan Krill 2017 Marshall Kosowski 2016 "Gill" Mascot (Fishing) 2016 Bob Uecker (Fishing) 2016 Robin Yount (Fishing) 2016 "Gill" Mascot (President) 2017 Isaac Morgan (Mini) 2017 "Gill" Mascot (Tailgate) 2017 Bob Uecker (Tailgate) 2017 Robin Yount (Tailgate) 2017 Gorman Thomas (Tailgate) 2017 Bud Selig (First Pitch) 2017 Bobble Boy (Blue) 2017 Bobble Boy (Gray) 2017 "Gill" Mascot (Santa) 2018 Zack Grantite 2018 Craig Counsell 2018 Harvey Kuenn 2018 Jerry Augustine 2018 Robin Yount (Motorcycle) 2018 Robin Yount (Santa) 2018 "Gill" Mascot (Beach) 2018 "Gill" Mascot (Stadium) 2018 "Gill" Mascot (Vintage) 2019 Robin Yount (Season Seat Holder) 2019 Robin Yount (NWL Champion) 2019 Robin Yount (HOF Speech) 2019 Robin Yount (Rockin Robin) 2019 Paul Molitor and Robin Yount (Batman and Robin) 2019 Brian Anderson 2019 "Gill" Mascot (The Kid) 2019 TBD Racing Bratwurst (Keychain) Racing Hot Dog (Keychain) Racing Italian (Keychain) Racing Polish (Keychain) Gary Sheffield (Stockton Ports, Statue) Milwaukee Braves (Nesting Dolls) Bob Uecker (Nesting Dolls) Brewers Infield (Nesting Dolls, Bill Hall) Brewers Infield (Nesting Dolls, JJ Hardy) Brewers Infield (Nesting Dolls, Prince Fielder) Brewers Infield (Nesting Dolls, Rickie Weeks) Don Money (Wobbler, Huntsville Stars)
  4. If you guys really want those on there, i'll put em in there, somewhere. I still don't think certain obbleheads should make the list. I see where your coming from, and while I don't agree I'll make sure they get in there so I don't hear anymore complaining. It'll be a seperate list called "Non Affiliated, Hockey, High School, and Gehrig" Added the list with help from *bobblesgalore* on eBay. Will get prices up there when you guy tell me what this stuff is worth, since I don't and won't be getting any of the ones that seem necessary for a complete collection. Will you delete your comment now on that thread, I've asked a few times now...
  5. where the complete list existed above the other trading post stuff....it's tacked
  6. Thanks to the help from a handful of long time collectors on this board, the price guide is now up. You can use this as a guide to sell, or to know when your overspending on eBay. Again, please don't comment on that page, if there seems to be a trend in a bobble where the price changes, we'll address it.
  7. Can't help you with either of those, but you know i'd be willing to work something out with you down the line, probably involving currency.
  8. Mind if I ask where you found the Gehrig and how much it ran you? Not really interested in getting one unless if falls in my lap, but curious how you stumbled upon it.
  9. All three sold combined for 52+ shipped. Was watching them all week, and had to bid early because I was going out, got back 20 minutes after it ended, missed out by a buck. Oh well.
  10. Just got mine for 46 shipped, shoulda waited for the one that ended right after it, it ended at 41 shipped
  11. lol madgrad. I asked the Sounds if they stumble across some if they could send me one, and they're mailing me one, and paying for the shipping. Pretty stoked on that.
  12. Heh, I contacted the Sounds. Turns out that there were between 10-15 given out without a box. Just my luck.
  13. I've recieved one list, and have mine completed. Still waiting for the list from a few of you that volunteered your service. I'm hoping to have this completed in the next week or so. If you'd still like to help out, let me know. Thanks!
  14. That's what I was assuming. I'm glad I have the packaging, but as I said, it's annoying. She said she'd refund my money, but it's really not worth it the hassle.
  15. Has anyone got this yet? Did it come with a box? I got mine from a lady on eBay, it came with the styrofoam but no box...she said that's how it was given out, which I find hard to believe. Not the end of the world if I don't have a box, but annoying nonetheless. Can someone give me a straight answer? Thanks
  16. When I went down there about 7 years ago we parked in Skokie and took the train in the rest of the way. Not sure what line it was however.
  17. Check your inbox
  18. I love that Miller Park is not in downtown. If it were you probably couldn't tailgate anymore, have to park in ramps, and traffic leaving would be AWFUL. I never park in the lot at MP except when we're tailgating. IMO, a baseball fan hasn't lived until they've tailgated.
  19. I'd want to trade. I'm missing a few retros from this year, and I'm also missing the Hunter Morris from this year. If you think you have anything to offer, inbox me.
  20. Why is it so hot at Rays games? Because there's no fans at Tropicana. The Devil challenged God to a baseball game. God replied, I have Ted Williams, Lou Gehrig, Cy Young, and many other greats. There is no way you can beat us. The devil replied "That may be true, but I have all the deceased umpires" A man walks into a bar with a dog. The bartender says, "You can't bring that dog in here." "You don't understand," says the man. "This is no regular dog, he can talk." "Listen, pal," says the bartender. "If that dog can talk, I'll give you a hundred bucks." The man puts the dog on a stool, and asks him, "What's on top of a house?" "Roof!" "Right. And what's on the outside of a tree?" "Bark!" "And who's the greatest baseball player of all time?" "Ruth!" "I guess you've heard enough," says the man. "I'll take the hundred in twenties." The bartender is furious. "Listen, pal," he says, "get out of here before I belt you." As soon as they're on the street, the dog turns to the man and says, "Do you think I should have said 'Mays'?"
  21. Two boys are playing hockey on an inlet on a pond in suburban Chicago when one is attacker by a rabid Rottweiler. Thinking quickly, the other boy takes his stick and wedges it down the dog's collar and twists, breaking the dog's neck. A reporter who is strolling by sees the incident and rushes over to the boy. "Young White Sox Fan Saves Friend from Vicious Animal," he starts writing in his notebook. "But I'm not a Sox fan," the little hero replied. "Sorry, since we are in Chicago, I just assumed you were," said the reporter, and he began writing again. "Cubs Fan Rescues Friends from Horrific Attack," he continued writing in his notebook. "I'm not a Cubs fan either," the boy said. "I assumed everyone in Chicago was either for the Cubs or the Sox. What team do you root for?" inquired the reporter. "I'm a Yankees fan," the child responded. The reporter turned the page in his notebook and wrote "Little Bastard from New York Kills Beloved Family Pet."
  22. One morning in elementary school, the students were going to a geography class. The teacher wanted to show the students where cities and states are.The teacher asks the class, "Does anyone know where Pittsburgh is?" Billy raises up his hand and says, "Yeah, Pennsylvania!". The teacher replies, "Very good, Billy!, now can anyone tell me were Detroit is?"Suzy raises her hand and says, "That's in Michigan!" The teacher again says, "Very good." Trying to confuse the children, she now asks, "Where's Kansas City?" Tommy raises his hand and says, "Oh Oh Pick me!!!, I know?" The teacher says, "OK, Tommy where is Kansas City?" "They're in last place."
  23. so far, Bombers wins. A doctor at an insane asylum decided to take his patients to a baseball game. For weeks in advance, he coached his patients to respond to his commands. When the day of the game arrived, everything seemed to be going well. As the National Anthem started.......the doctor yelled, "Up Nuts" And the patients complied by standing up. After the anthem ...he yelled, "Down Nuts". And they all sat back down in their seats. After a home run was hit, the doctor yelled, "Cheer Nuts". They all brokeout into applause and cheered. When the umpire made a particularly bad call against the star of the home team, the Doctor yelled, "Booooo Nuts!!!" and they all started booing and cat calling. Thinking things were going very well. The doctor decided to go get a beer and a hot dog, leaving his assistant in charge. When he returned, there was a riot in progress. Finding his assistant, the doctor asked," What in the world happened? " The assistant replied, "Well, everything was going just fine till a vendor passed by and yelled PEANUTS!"
