  1. Now don’t everyone overreact……..and don’t shoot the messenger!
  2. And even on the plus side…..projecting Woody to be completely back to pre injury form seems ridiculous……….Do I hope it happens? Sure……could it happen? Sure…..but a projection typically is what they expect to happen and there are just too many unknowns for that to be the expectation.
  3. How accurate is Zips? I just don’t have much faith in these projection systems……seems like we outperform them as a team every season.
  4. Even when the Dodgers don’t offer the most they are getting their guys…….
  5. So he wanted to play for the best team on the west coast……..
  6. If you got a funky delivery the Brewers will give you a shot……no.matter how terrible your numbers are……lol
  7. Click and bait
  8. I bet it was Toronto
  9. Burned initiated the contact with the Dbacks……he really didn’t want to go to SF
  10. I’m not sure everyone said he was improving at 3rd……I didn’t see any reports on him from national guys or our own guys who watched him that feel he is even an average defender at first, 2nd or 3rd. i have hopes for him but if the Brewers liked what they saw of him at 3rd they would have played him there in the minors last season…….which they hardly did at all.
  11. It seems to be the Brewers brass who have the doubts about his defense……based on their never ending movement of Black from one position to another. The reports from Brewer fan regulars who watch lots of minor league games have also been less than glowing. Obviously none of us have seen enough of his defense at the major league level to see it for ourselves but we didn’t have to see Keston play major league 2nd base to make assumptions that he would struggle there and I didn’t need to see Turang play defense in the majors to feel very confident that he would be excellent up here……..all the reports said it was a strength.
  12. 4 million for Ross
  13. Carlos just keeps getting paid………
  14. EBJ probably doesn’t have much trade value
  15. I imagine his age (34 on opening day) and position were mitigating factors in his market value.
