    Yeah that’s my point…….fans going to go to more games to see the card? Of course not…….if people are walking by the exhibit they would look but this is a big nothing burger as far as being anything that anybody really cares about as a pirates fan. Making a big deal about this like they are doing would just make me mad as a fan….lol…..

    Does anyone think the fans really care about this stupid card? I mean they will enjoy watching Skeenes pitch for the pirates for a few more years until they have to trade him. This whole thing seems so strange to me……lol

    Chourio didn’t look comfortable in CF when he played there in spring training last season. Obviously that doesn’t mean he won’t ever be moved there but it seems management and Murph feel more comfortable with Mitchell. I’m going to assume that GM will continue to get the bulk of the innings in CF which is fine by me. The other issues are the ones I’m interested in…….i hope they don’t move Turang but as you said at this point lots of questions. I still can’t believe they aren’t going to bring in another option to compete with Durbin. Yelich is going to play some outfield…….Contreras will be DH at least 2 days a week.

    Agree to disagree on the parity…….i love the idea that the Packers can keep their best players and pay them at the top of the market when warranted. Ditto for the Bucks. I like the idea of organizations succeeding and failing based on good management and not just who can afford to buy the best players. The Dodgers are very well run……which combined with their economic advantages is just not good for the sport. IMO The Brewers have done a great job of doing what they can to compete……..the fact that they have outperformed the Cubs and Cards is to their credit…….but the big markets can afford to things the small markets can only dream of in this current climate…….I’d much prefer competing on a level playing field……or as close to one as we can get.

    NFL style parity is very interesting to me…….unfortunately I don’t think I will live long enough to see it.
