    Another premier closer gives it up in the postseason…… Clase gives up 2 singles in the 9th and then a 2 strike 3 run bomb in a 0-0 game. Such a strange postseason………..so many late game heroics

    I could be wrong …..not that it matters because it won’t happen……but now that Devin is under a team option……i am under the impression that they can either pick up the option or he becomes a free agent……I don’t believe they could just forego the option and retain him on arbitration. Like I said I might be wrong but it doesn’t matter…..they will pick up the option and either trade him or keep him.

    Of course he can come back…….they certainly aren’t going to give him away. But my guess is they will look to move him for a prospect or 2 that they like……save the money and use it elseware.

    One of the most crushing losses in Brewers history………Murph goes to Mears and he has a dominant inning……..has Freddy pitch the 8th…….3 up 3 down. Devin with a 2 run lead………and he can’t get it done…….. life of a Brewers fan…….playoff heartbreak……..have to lose in the most excruciating way possible…..with our elite closer on the mound. feel so bad for the kids like Chourio, Mitchell and Sal who came up so big…….
