I believe that this could still potentially be a trade…….or have been revocable waivers now been done away with? I agree it’s more likely that he either gets picked up or the option just gets declined. -

They obviously don’t think he’s worth the money at this stage of his career and hope to save the buyout.. They must feel confident in the other less expensive guys……..it will be interesting to see if anyone claims him…..and who it is. -

That’s an interesting move by the Cubs to outbid the Brewers for him and then move him to 3rd base …..where most of his in game base running expertise is basically eliminated……..obviously most of his value is what he brings to the table in the spring and during the season……but you saw him coaching guys up at first base all the time helping them get reads……..3rd base coach is probably considered a promotion for him but I’m not sure it’s the best use of his talent. Either way it will be interesting to watch……..and it will be interesting to see who the Brewers hire/ promote to take his place.

.its going to be a long winter waiting for spring training…. …..Horst has managed them into cap hell and basically given them a roster that is old and slow around Giannis. No depth…the ..draft choices that they haven’t traded have been awful,,,,,, hard to watch……

A big no on “ sharing” the team…….i don’t think the Brewers are going anywhere for a long time. Their lease was just extended to 2050………I’m hoping to still be above ground then but chances are I won’t be…….lol
