Chances of them signing Chapman are somewhere between very low to not happening.
-
Think he was on a minor league deal so 40 man is still full I believe.

I really can’t believe they published that piece of drivel……..

If any of you want to get a laugh…….here you go……courtesy of Marshall Eckblad…….. https://www.jsonline.com/ideas-lab/
-
Murphy said it in another article …..I don’t recall where it was.

If he’s Woody of old you are never going to get him for 2 years 27.5 Million. He will opt out. This is a 1 year 17 million dollar deal structured in a way that is advantageous to the team. It’s a mutual option not an option just for Woody.

God I love Woody

Interesting stuff……he apparently was ready to sign with another team….but ended up with the Brewers. Also definitely not pitching in 24…..not that it’s a surprise https://www.jsonline.com/story/sports/mlb/brewers/2024/02/21/milwaukee-brewers-brandon-woodruff-make-two-year-deal-official/72674663007/

It does give them the option to pinch hit for Sanchez when Contreras is DHing without losing the DH…….that’s only reason I can think of.
-
Dom says no on your 40 man assumption
-
I guess I don’t get the need to keep Hasse on the active roster …….unless they are concerned about Sanchez ability to catch because of the wrist. i mean aren’t there better uses of a roster spot?
-
It’s happening
-
Just another BS twitter rumor…….smh
-
I took,it the other way…. The Brewers have stayed in close contact and would never have signed him if they weren’t encouraged by how his rehab is going.
