    Mark A’s net worth is 700 million……..Steve Cohen’s is 16 billion Brewers can’t spend like a big market team…….it wou,d be idiotic ……they do not have the revenue to do it and Mark isn’t going to dip into his own money to add free agents like Cohen is doing. So can’t in the Brewers case is closer to,the truth then won’t…….as least as it relates to big money free agents. They can’t print money. They can and do spend money on free agents when appropriate but they have a budget…..like most businesses.

    6 for 162 Million i was trying to stay optimistic about keeping one of our pitchers…….but how much will Woody (or heaven forbid Burnes) want after the money we’ve seen thrown around this offseason? hard to imagine a reasonable 5 year deal for either……..and you can’t blame them.

    Baseball America did a podcast……..add them to the list of people that can’t believe the Brewers were able to pull this off. Have not seen anyone yet that doesn’t love this from a Brewers perspective.

    From the Braves perspective ……..is 3 years of Sean Murphy really that much more valuable then 5 years of Contreras? I guess I just don’t see why they felt they needed to upgrade a position that was already strong.
