Really? You realize if we beat them only once in the 7 games we play them they would have to win out and we would have to lose out for them to tie us right?

In his last 7 starts he’s only given up more then 3 runs once……he’s pitching well now.

Especially against lefties……..I won’t be surprised if he is in the 2 or 3 spot vs righties……but with everyone back maybe not.

Or else the Cardinals decided to try to take advantage of the Brewers problems against left handed starters, and Lester’s past success against the Brewers, to try to get a jump in the series. If Garcia and Cain are still out the Brewers will be stuck with Bradley and Peterson in the OF. Garcia is back

For those wondering about Brent Suter’s recent absence (last pitched Sept. 8), he caught the Brandon Woodruff stomach bug early last week and was knocked out a few days. He’s available again now, Counsell said.

I don’t think anyone really cares much about the 100 game mark……other then the fans. Just win the division and try to be healthy and peaking at playoff time.

Let's also remember that when Stearns was hired he didn't have the option to bring in his own guy....he was told that CC would still be the guy going forward. They are both deserving……..no reason to be outraged if either of them wins.

Cain and Garcia are hurt.....jbj is gonna play. I know that. But I guarantee if you if it as the playoffs both of those guys would be playing today with their niggling injuries Or at least one of them over jbj Yes probably Garcia but not Cain …..but Brewers are doing the prudent thing so why complain?

Craig Counsell says Lorenzo Cain is generally sore, particularly in groin area, from collision with wall Saturday. Not sure how much time he will miss.

Yep…….anything can happen in the playoffs……I’m going to appreciate this team no matter what the result in the post season. They have given us tons of great memories and a very enjoyable summer.
