  1. Nothing really hit that hard but Freddy looks a little rusty from the layoff……or he just was a little off in the first inning which can happen.
  2. The article says they won’t approve it……
  3. So a bit better then usual…..encouraging!
  4. As I surmised…….Reds are going to get our best…..just like the Cards.
  5. The Brewers on the other hand are doing a much better job of winning just about every other place then AFF…..lol. But I guess when you are over .500 at home and dominant on the road that works out ok….
  6. Well we get old friend Jon Lester on Thursday
  7. As always you could flip a guy or 2 but this is really a solid lineup now.
  8. Giants are 3rd in the NL in runs scored……only 2 runs behind #2 Braves. They have a very good offense. Wainwright has only given up more then 3 runs in a game once since the beginning of June…..and that was 4 vs the Giants. If we score 4 or more runs against him tonight we will have earned it.
  9. We lost 6 in a row earlier this season….highlighted by the 4 game debacle vs the Phillies. 5 in a row in 1 other stretch.
  10. The Reds have placed OF Jesse Winker on the 10-day IL (intercostal strain) and recalled SS Jose Barrero
  11. He has a 752 ops vs righties which is really the relevant number since they could pick and choose his at bats as a bench guy more so then when he started at first base. His BABIP is only .246 this season so he's been a bit unlucky as well.
  12. Padres have run out of ideas to solves their pitching problems
  13. So we have our big 3 lined up to face the Cards who will counter with Wainwright, Mikolas(?) , and Flaherty. Then I would guess we will throw Anderson, Lauer and Houser( Ashby if Houser isn’t ready for some reason) against the Nats…..which will conveniently give us Burnes, Freddy and Woody for the Reds series.
  14. Reynolds out on a tapper to,the mound…….that’s a nice inning from Devin who has been quietly excellent for quite awhile.
  15. Great play by Urias……another scoreless inning for Box. Let’s get some runs…..asking your pen to throw 5 scoreless is asking a lot.
