  1. Woody’s got the good fastball going tonight……great to see. Probably only 1 more inning though
  2. CB helps us out in the first……..97 off the plate inside almost impossible to hit.
  3. That’s good stuff Sveum…..thanks for posting it. Man that defense in 2018 was something.
  4. #Brewers have TBA right now for starting pitcher Sunday in Minnesota. Counsell said Aaron Ashby might start that day. Freddy Peralta will be eligible to come off IL but Counsell said he's not likely to pitch that day.
  5. Just thought I would post this since I ran across it today. Rock loves to talk about fielding percentage and by that measure Brewers have not been very good…….but when you look at runs saved……the story is quite a bit different. Look at the difference between Brewers and the Reds…..eye opening. http://fieldingbible.com/TeamDefensiveRunsSaved
  6. What's interesting is as a hitter he is below average in lots of areas.....doesn't hit the ball hard often.......isn't a really fast runner....but doesn't strike out much...and is good at not making outs. https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/savant-player/kolten-wong-543939?stats=statcast-r-histograms-mlb
  7. The Cardinals are placing right-hander Jack Flaherty back on the 10-day injured list, manager Mike Shildt announced to reporters during today’s pregame session (Twitter link via Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat). Flaherty, who only just returned from a two-month absence due to a severe oblique strain, has now been diagnosed with a strain in his right shoulder. Shildt indicated that imaging was “mostly negative,” suggesting that there’s no major structural issue in the shoulder.
  8. For the people that were wondering if Burnes was hurt "As far as how I felt, everything felt good," Burnes said. "The command with the cutter was pretty poor. That's two starts in a row now that the cutter command hasn't been there, so when your go-to pitch to get into a count is not there and you're trying to throw from behind in the count all night, it's tough.
  9. Willy Adames has dealt with the quad since St. Louis. It's not serious, Craig Counsell said, but it's been an issue every day. Going to be cautious with him. He's out tomorrow. "It's just to the point where it's not worth taking a risk on it," Counsell said.
  10. *shrug*???!!?? I think because they liked Tommy Edmand……who was much cheaper as well.
