  1. Yeah…..writers had no problem voting for Yelich, Braun or Yount fir MVP……..Heck Vuke won the Cy Young when he probably shouldn’t have. I have no idea who will win it but I’m not worried about any bias making the difference. If there are 3 or 4 worthy candidates only 1 can win…….at this point Buehler is more then worthy……let’s see how everybody pitches down the stretch,
  2. and Davies is making 8.6 Million this year.........Lauer....562K.
  3. it's always fun to look at the immediate reaction to trades to see how right or in this case...wrong.....most of the takes were.

It's very early but might at least see what seasoning will make the taste tolerable.... Pãul @BravesStats · 2h Highest OPS (50+ PA) since the All-Star break: 1.327 George Springer 1.280 Joey Votto 1.269 Bryce Harper 1.219 Rowdy Tellez 1.183 Juan Soto 1.161 AUSTIN RILEY 1.142 Rafael Ortega 1.138 Randy Arozarena 1.129 Kyle Farmer 1.118 Will Smith 1.092 JORGE SOLER
  5. It sure looked like Narvaez was laughing about the trainer and CC going out to check,on Manny….like “ I get hit 4 times a game and nobody checks on,me” lol
  6. yes he did No, he was on the IL/isolated due to a close contact having COVID. Urias was the one who actually had (asymptomatic) COVID. I stand corrected
  7. yes he did
  8. How do? Now he gets a MLB check for a few months. Sounds good to me. Not sure how it backfired. Gave up nothing, had nothing to lose, and his performance lost nothing. I don't disagree...but his performance did cost us the availability of Boxberger yesterday.....which may or may not have been the difference last night depending on how CC would have decided to use him. My guess is Box would have had the 8th and Williams the 9th which would have saved Sanchez for the 10th. Anyway it is what it is.....it couldn't have been foreseen.
  9. Adam McCalvy @AdamMcCalvy · 1m John Axford has significant structural damage in his elbow and won’t pitch again this season, Craig Counsell says. Axford is weighing his options in terms of treatment.
  10. please make it stop..... Adam McCalvy @AdamMcCalvy · 35s Brewers left-hander Eric Lauer has tested positive for COVID-19 and is going on the IL.
  11. Mitchell goes yard again
  12. I’d bet money that Hader got up and started stretching at home before that Escobar at bat……
  13. Why does BA keep saying Wilson has a high pitch count? 60 pitches through 4 is not high at all.
