Just about a perfect Anderson start so far……nothing but ground balls and a few strike outs. He’s going to have some days where he doesn’t have it….or the ground balls find holes……but these starts are really fun to watch.

Last 8 games he has an OPS of 800. Terrible season but he has been a little better of late……let’s hope it continues

From Rosenthal The Pirates’ trade of Tyler Anderson to the Phillies has been held up because of an issue (presumably medical) with one of the two players going back to Pittsburgh, according to a source with knowledge of the situation. Unclear where talks stand, whether player will be replaced.

christian yelich's experience on covid-19 injured list
markedman5 replied to djoctagone's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
This was why the team plane flew this morning instead of last night. Yelich has mild symptoms. "It's our hope he can knock this out quickly and feel better quickly," Stearns said. Yelich is out a minimum 10 days from when he tested positive. Peterson is 7 days. -

Garrett earned that reaction with his BS earlier in the season towards both Baez and Rizzo. I have no love for the Cubs or Baez but what goes around comes around......and Garrett just got his antics returned to him with a little interest.

Yes…..some trades would definitely be cost prohibitive………the reason why the Brewers are in this situation now is because they refused to deal guys like Woodruff and Burnes a few years ago. Thank goodness they viewed dealing them as “cost prohibitive”.

Wouldn’t it be fun to have a bug on Stearns phone this week?

Cards beat the Reds 10-6

The Brewers don’t play the White Sox down there. Just like with the Cubs, there are more flatlanders that come here than the other way around because the park here is nicer and more accessible than theirs. And because there are a lot more people in Chicago then Milwaukee…….

Ok Suter……..nice job after the meatball 0-2 pitch to start the inning
