Just reported that Stearns said no structural damage according to the MRI. So that’s good news From David Stearns: “Devin reported some elbow soreness following the game yesterday. He felt it while warming up. We had a precautionary MRI done this morning which showed no structural damage. … We do not expect this to be a lengthy absence and are treating this with caution.”

I’d prefer Shaw and Vogelbach to Hiura and Tellez…..especially since we can send them down. Plus you can bring 1 or both of them back when rosters expand to 28 or if somebody else gets hurt. We lose a right handed bat in the exchange but with Hiura not sure that even means anything. The trading deadline will probably determine what they do with them…..if we add anyone then somebody has to go.

Baseball is weird……sure doesn’t feel like he has pitched all that well but it’s working out. The Brewers have won eight of Adrian Houser's last nine starts including seven in a row. He has a 3.45 ERA in that nine-game span and a 4.14 ERA in the last seven.

Taylor should not be sent down. He will be……no place for 5 outfielders and he can be optioned.

That’s a big win guys. Split the next 2 and we leave here up 5 games…….if we can steal them both it’s back up 7!

When Cain returns Taylor will go back down…..Telliz or Hiura will probably go down when Shaw or Vogelbach comes back. It will work out one way or another.

Also a good break for us that Warren had to go on the IL…..won’t have to see him this weekend.

Great move by CC starting Houser in a game he knew we were going to score 11 runs so when he sucked we could still win easily…….brilliant!
