    No …..I think he will play for us this year. Now what happens 2 or 3 years from now it’s hard to say…..but they didn’t acquire him to flip him right away…….imo

    Another thing I liked reading Arnold’s comments…….he said he stayed in touch with Freddy throughout the process to let him know what was going on as things progressed this offseason……..didn’t want anything to come as a surprise out of the blue.

    Arnold talked about his versatility as being a perfect fit for the Brewers……if he makes the team(Arnold said both players will have a shot to win jobs in spring training) I think you will see him play in both the outfield and the infield.

    He doesn’t have to be the next Pedroia for this trade to work out well for the Brewers. Why be optimistic when the alternative is so much fun right?

    Could be…..my main point was he is going to be using a 40 man spot early in the season…..I think they are counting on him to be a contributor early in 2026 or they wouldn’t have made the trade.
