Mitchell is -5 in defensive runs saved this season…….Perkins is plus 5 in limited innings. i think the brewers have shown by the way they have dealt with Mitchell the last week or so that they agree with the metrics……..

Certainly 2026 version of Mitchell would weaken the D……..he has not been good out there for whatever reason.

I’m.old enough to remember when Luis Arraez was moved to first base because he couldn’t play 2nd…. And Turang was a platinum glove winner……small ample obviously but still strange to see.
