  1. And if it wasn’t bad enough for Bickford
  2. Yep, not to the extent of Yardley but funky delivery. Having a hard time pitching inside to righties obviously.... Even with a funky delivery if 90 is your top end you are not going to be around long. Unless your Dan Quisenberry or Kent Tekulve......and few are.
  3. You wait your whole life to pitch in the majors and then hit 2 guys throw a wild pitch and then get lite up for 4 runs.........welcome to the bigs....
  4. It was a good piece of hitting......just went with a pitch outside and drove it to right.
  5. He used to......not sure if injuries robbed him of 5 mph or what but this isn’t impressive
  6. Doesn’t matter, at this pace Hiura will strike out 213 times over his first 162 games. Thats Chris Carter, Mark Reynolds territory. For a guy who doesn’t play defense, if he continues to strike out that much he’ll be gone when he becomes arbitration eligible. His defense has been ok since that one bad stretch......why don’t we let his career play out before we give up on him after a 880 ops rookie year? As bad as he’s been he is still at 730 this season.......
  7. Jacye Peterson seems nice. Woody seems nice......so do Yelich, Cain.....Devin Williams, Suter, Moose and Hader.
  8. Hiura excelled in the minors at every stop and was very good last season at the major league level.....Ray has no such history to look back on. His best minor league season was 800 ops......last season 654.
  9. Levering isn’t growing on me.......I think I like Lepay more......which is a very low bar to get over....lol.
  10. On a call that bad I’d love the replay official to tell him safe the second they put the headset on.
  11. I don’t know what lasting effects from that injury would completely derail a career. Has there been instances where guys never bounced back from that? My assumption is that if Attanasio didn’t get an absolute green light on the injury from medical staff he never would have signed him to the extension. I would be shocked if his struggles have anything to do with the injury......but no way to prove it obviously.
  12. He’s not a starter.......not stretched out......every time he started it would be a bullpen day.....of course it’s been a pen day whenever Lindblom started so maybe it doesn’t matter. Wou,d think Peralta , Lauer or Supak wou,d be options.....maybe Suter. I agree I’ve seen enough....hope they try somebody else
  13. He throw six different pitches or something. And a Cy young award.......in some other country.......
  14. 1 it’s not a normal September......he only has a handful of starts 2 we don’t have any other good options
  15. Even when he throws good pitches he can’t get lefties out........ He looks like Soup to me........yuck
  16. “ if he can control 5 of them he’d be special” I’d settle for commanding 2 or 3 and being decent at this point.
