  1. For a guy with pinpoint control of 6 pitches Lindblom seems to get behind virtually every hitter......
  2. That's not unpopular at all. He has not been very good, then again, none of our hitters really have. Yep....’.considering expectations you could say that Yelich and Hiura have been as big or bigger disappointments ....’.ditto for Braun.
  3. In another example of 2020 being the bizarro world.......Brad Miller has a 957 ops for the Cards. They batted around in,the first against Sonny Gray. and knocked him out.
  4. Hard to believe the Brewers are -200 favorite in this game......2 bad pitchers but Tigers have a better offense and run differential. I could see 140 or 150 but 200 seems crazy to me.
  5. Anybody know what the MLB record is for consecutive no hit innings to start a season?
  6. Why put him.on the dL.....do we have sole stud hitters at Appleton that I don’t know about?
  7. David Stearns: "Probably up until 2:55, I thought we were going to add a bat. ... This is one case where we just couldn't get over the line."
  8. From 2010-14, the Cubs lost 464 games, 2nd most in MLB. They sacrificed those years for the uncertainty of the future & won the World Series in 2016. They got somewhere. From 2010-14 the Astros lost 502 games, the most in MLB. They sacrificed those years for the uncertainty of the future & won the World Series in 2017. They got somewhere. White Sox didn’t want to sacrifice the now for the uncertainty of the future a few years ago..... https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2020/04/how-did-the-white-sox-trade-fernando-tatis-jr.html
  9. Balls might still be juiced......heard yesterday that homers were very similar to last season
  10. Counsell on Ryan Braun's off and on back issue: "It's important that we manage it and that's what today is about."
  11. I am glad we didn’t waste any of our limited prospect capital to try and compete this season. It’s possible we could make the playoffs anyway but even if we sneak in it’s hard to see us doing any damage......not with the Dodgers, Padres, Braves to get through.
  12. Ok then.......
  13. Let’s remember we signed Phelps to a free agent deal only a few months ago. It’s not like comparable veteran bullpen guys can’t be had in the off season for similar money
  14. It’s official.....3 ptbnl
