  1. The GM is always more important then the manager.......and I’m a fan of CC.
  2. https://www.mlb.com/news/brewers-promote-david-stearns-with-extension-c303042282
  3. Yeah CC just doesn’t know what he’s doing......lol. Braun will still get starts in the outfield......he isn’t going to just be the right handed part of the platoon at first. Sogard isn’t going to be the starting 3rd baseman.....they will add someone else.
  4. I believe they already use the automated zone to grade umps? I mean how else would you do,it? Certainly they have a way of evaluating the best umpires......those are the guys that work the post season right?
  5. Winning it all is still a crap shoot........even if you are the best team the odds are not all that great....https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2020-nba-predictions/?ex_cid=rrpromo
  6. Winning it all is still a crap shoot........even if you are the best team the odds are not all that great....https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2020-nba-predictions/?ex_cid=rrpromo
  7. I wouldn’t pay Travis 5 million but maybe somebody will?
  8. Reports are that the Dodgers are not trading Lux
  9. I'm trying to think if a Cub has ever gotten a standing ovation at Miller Park? I imagine there have been a few over the years.......did Luc get one last season?
  10. Non roster invite deal according to Heyman
  11. It will be interesting to see what the next move is...... Tom @Haudricourt · 6m #Brewers David Stearns: "We still think we have opportunities to improve on our infield," he said. "We're going to remain active in both the first and third base markets. We've still got a lot of time to go."
  12. Adam McCalvy @AdamMcCalvy · 2m David Stearns' take on this was that they'll get to Spring Training, see where everyone is comfortable, and what makes for the best alignment. If Yelich desires to stay in RF, so be it. If he's flexible, maybe they flip Yelich and García. Nothing set in stone.
  13. If he puts up an .849 OPS... how does that play at third? Crew signs Thames to handle first... ss: Urias 2b: Hiura lf: Yelich rf: Garcia 1b: Thames 3b: Braun c: Narvaez cf: Cain pitcher Just saying... it's an option. Not if you want someone who can actually play 3rd base it’s not..... https://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/ryan-braun-is-willing-to-play-wherever-the-brewers-want-him-including-second-base/
  14. What I meant was as soon as the market went to 4 years and 80-100 million for Donaldson it became clear the he wasn’t going to be signing with the Brewers. I guess I could have been clearer but I assume people are following what is going on and most of us understand that Stearns isn’t paying that kind of money for 4 years of a player who is already 34.
  15. You don’t have to be David Stearns to know that.........but I’m glad to clarify for anyone that couldn’t figure it out on their own.
  16. They were never going to sign Donaldson......regardless of what happened today.
