    I think everybody likes Burnes ......he has great stuff...but last year he was handed a spot.....and proceeded to pitch his way out of that spot by getting hammered start after start until Craig had no choice but to,pull him from the rotation. He will get opportunities to show what he has in spring training......then either triple A or the bullpen......if other guys get hurt or falter and he is pitching well he will get another chance......it’s up to him to show that he deserves it.

    I think you’re reading that wrong......3.25 million minimum this season with a 750k buyout if the option. So 4 million minimum......plus incentives.
