    If you think Stearns told Chase about a plan for 2020 in early November I don't know what to tell you. All of this because Chase said " It's going to be a different group there next year, but they know what they're doing." ? Yeah it's going to be a different group......Chase is gone.....and they really only have 1 guy who we know for sure will be in there. My guess is Stearns told Chase something like this " Chase we've traded you to Toronto. I want to thank you for everything you've done for the Brewers in the years you've been a Brewer. We wish you the best of luck in Toronto"

    Scott Mitchell @ScottyMitchTSN Replying to @ScottyMitchTSN and @ByRobertMurray #BlueJays are sending 1B Chad Spanberger, who was acquired in the Seunghwan Oh trade, to the Brewers. Spanberger, 24, struggled in Double-A in 2019.

    Thanks yeah I used the wrong term but as you said same result.......I always liked Chase......seemed like a good man....loved playing for the Brewers......wish him the best in Toronto.

    Interesting....better then a non tender and shows thew Brewers are going to try and use that money to upgrade either at Pitcher or another position.

    I really think they are going to non tender Shaw........Stearns certainly didn't sound confident that he would bounce back in his end of year news conference. I guess we will find out by Dec. 2nd
