If the Brewers' pen is a dumpster fire, the Cubs' is a full-on landfill fire. Darvish gave up 4 homers tonight
-
That was an outstanding g 3-2 pitch from Albers. Way to come up big!

Nice job by Claudio.......

Now they are starting to make solid contact against Houser after all the Miscues....... This how bad teams lose games they should have won easily
-
Hiura had time to stop and underhand it to Arcia to get 1......his decision making is just awful
-
Houser pitching like a stud........team lets him down so,he reaches back and punches out a good hitter to end it

Not sure I've ever seen a short stop playing on the grass in his normal position before.....lol.....
-
Not sure if your joking or not but once the lineup is submitted Houser has to hit in his spot or be out of the game.

Crooked number alert!

Is Counsell the Right Manager for the Brewers?
markedman5 replied to RollieTime's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
Yep........its not the X's and the O's.......its the Jimmy's and the Joe's....... -
One last thing from last nights game The double was hardly a smash hit. It left Fowler’s bat at 69.2 mph with a 46-degree launch angle and hung in the air for 4.4 seconds, according to Statcast. Batted balls with that profile are hits just 24 percent of the time.

Shake up in the Brewers Scouting department
markedman5 replied to markedman5's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
Bob Nightengale @BNightengale · 10m It’s that dreadful time of year for scouts; The Milwaukee #Brewers are merging their pro and amateur scouts into one department which has resulted in the loss of several jobs among pro scouts. -
On another topic......I know the MLB draft is a crap shoot.......but Gavin Lux is destroying AAA pitching....a Wisconsin kid that Dodgers picked 20th.......when we picked Ray at number 5. Would have been a nice option for our future SS......... Ok,I'm done......

Brewers bullpen has stunk all year........Guerra should have been out of that inning with a tie game. He did about as good a job as could be expected entering the game with bases loaded an nobody out. That ball has to be caught. End of story. Brewers are just a 500 team........it's been pretty obvious for a long time that they just aren't good.
